I TOLD YOU DONT READ THIS STOP PLEASE
You wake up. In a dark, dark, place. You immediately recognize what's happening. You've been having these dreams for a while, in the Nowhere. Except, this time, it felt...more, well, vivid than usual. That's when you remember. The deal you'd struck with The Ferryman. That somehow, by taking you here, you'd be able to...escape. The counsellor, your terrible life from before. You'd been so scared of him, after what he'd done to the last two kids, before they...disappeared. Noone, and...Ethan? Right on time, he showed up in your dreams. And you accepted. And now you're here.
You look around frantically, but all is dark. Suddenly, you remember your parents. You- you'd never be able to see them again...
The tears started welling and your brain spiraled in panic. You sat up and called out, over and over again, just needing someone, anyone!
You curled up into a trembling ball, closing your eyes, waiting for this nightmare to end.
Just as you think everything is over, you hear a voice. "Hey!" You quickly look up and are blinded by the bright light in your face.
Once your eyes adjust you see...a girl, looking around 13 or younger, wearing a yellow raincoat as bright as the torch she was holding up to you. Her black bangs obscured her eyes, but you could tell she was staring at you. "Hey!" She whisper-shouted again.
"Oh, h-hi!" You respond awkwardly, relieved to see another kid. "Hi.." she whispered, smiling a bit.
She holds out her hand and you...
