The cover of this chapter represents me.

you eventually slide underneath a space small enough that this guest couldn't chase you any longer, mindlessly thrashing at the walls. you turn towards Six, but she's looking up at something. Your eyes widen as you realize just what she's looking at. "Oh no.." In front of you, the gigantic guest area, with long tables filled with disgusting food...which the guests were scarfing down their crusty throats. "How're we going to get past all of them?!"

Six nods at you. "Just look around a bit more, think about it." She says, putting a hand on your chin, guiding your eyes back towards the gruesome Guest Area. The tables, above you, with benches for sitting in front of them, and highest up, the guests, sitting on the benches. "See anything helpful?" Six asks. "Wait-yeah!" You say, perking up, and she smiles back at your excitement. "Shoot."

"We can use the benches to climb onto the table and run across!" You suggest. "Good idea!" Six agrees. "It is gonna be risky though.." You let your hand slide into hers. "We'll be fine. I know it." You try and give her your most comfortable smile. Although, you really are sure about it now. Ever since you and Six well...got together.. I know this is kind of cheesy but...I feel like as long as I'm with her I'll be okay. I love her so much. From her, well, beautiful demeanour which just made you blush, to her caring personality once you got to know her... Plus, she's so cute when you tease her, and— "Hey, my lovely idiot." You snap your attention back towards her. She's snickering at you. "I can see you staring." You blush and immediately try and apologize. "S-sorry, I-"

"It's okay." She says, her grip playing around with your hand. "I actually quite like it." "Oh..I'm glad." A couple of blissful moments in silence, before you're back on your way out the Maw. Six hoists you up onto the bench, as the guests' munching grew closer and louder. You wince and reach out your hands for Six to grab, pulling her up beside you. "As soon as we get on that table.." six says in a serious tone. "There's no turning back. We have to run, as fast as we can." You nod, trying to look serious, when on the inside you were absolutely terrified. And as you both hopped onto the table, your fears were confirmed. These monstrous, fat adults were all clamouring for you. Instinctively, you and six both grab each other's hands, and start running across the table. You try not to think about the dozens of them trailing behind you, reaching for you... finally, you reach the end of the table and jump towards the lamp hanging up in the distance.

You close your eyes, not wanting to face your inevitable doom. No, it should be fine... you think, gripping harder onto six before opening your eyes and grabbing onto the lamp, six following, grabbing onto you. Too out of breath to say anything, you both shift your weight from side to side, before eventually swinging off the lamp onto another balcony. "Oh...jeez...that was..." you turn to Six. "Tiring..." she says, before wincing and hunching over, her arms wrapping around her stomach. "Crap, Six!" You exclaim, running up to her and putting an arm around her. "Y-you okay? Hungry again." "Nyeah..." she mumbles weakly, letting her head rest onto your shoulder. "S-six, i-it's gonna be okay, y-you..." you can feel yourself trembling at the idea of her... It's the most fear you've ever felt for something in a while. "I'll find you food. I promise, if it's the last thing I do..."

Too weak to even respond at this point, despite her usually tough demeanour, she gives a halfhearted nod. Now carrying her weight, you start walking slowly through the hallway...through the end...into another room... your eyes perk up at the movement. A gnome! You recognized them, from seeing them all around the Maw, these friendly creatures. And the best thing about it-it was holding out a sausage! And no persuasion was needed, it was gesturing for them to come and take it. As you walked closer to it, you whispered to Six, alerting her. "Hey..! Look!" Her eyes widened before she smiled lightly. "Perfect. Food." She uttered. "Y-yeah!!" You exclaim, lightening the mood. "Come, eat it!" And feel better...please... She nodded and gently let go of you, falling to her knees in front of the gnome. It happily held out the sausage to her and she took it.

Then tossed it to the side. Your eyes widened. No, no, no! You tried to erase it from your memory, but it wouldn't budge. You'd known about her weird eating habits from before, but this... She wiped her bloody mouth one last time as its struggling stopped. "Six...what..."
It lay there, motionless, all its life ripped out for someone else. Her energy was clearly back as she ran up to you and wrapped you in a giant hug. "Thanks sooo mUCH N/N!!" she squealed. "That was the best meal I've had in so long!!"
