Amil watched as Robert and Toby left while Karen was escorted by a Nurse to the room Sarah was. He sat down weary after such a long surgery and rubbed his head trying to get his thoughts in order.

"Impossible. It's impossible. It couldn't be them, they disappeared during the attack. I felt their magic disappear from the world." Amil thoughts swirled around his head, his head ached trying to make sense of this new mystery.

The crystal ball in his pocket lit up, interrupting his thought process. He quickly stepped into a empty room and gestured with his hands putting up a privacy barrier. As Amil activated the crystal, he put his right fist over his heart while dipping his head slightly murmuring "Your Majesty."

Jareth's face peered through the crystal, Amil could clearly see the worry on Jareth's face. In the background of the Crystal he saw Hoggle, Sir Didymus and Ludo. Ludo was holding Hoggle who was struggling to get free while making incomprehensible noises due to his mouth being covered by Ludo's furry arms.

Amil focused his attention back on Jareth asking "How is Sarah? What are her injuries? What attacked her?"

Amil spoke soothingly "She is alive but she does have some severe injuries."

Jareth paled while the three behind him looked about ready to cry. Jareth voiced wavered as he asked "H-how bad is it?"

Amil reassured them "She is out of fatal danger right now. She just has some injuries that will need time and probably magic to help heal fully."

Jareth opened his mouth to demand a better answer but Amil looked pointedly to the three behind Jareth. Jareth kept quiet and took a fortifying breath. At that moment Hoggle got free from Ludo and ran up grabbing the crystal from Jareth's hand. Hoggle brought the crystal to his face and demanded "What happened to Sarah? What attacked her? The Goblins are just giving a confusing story about some giant metal carriage and some dark, evil smoke creature!"

Sir Didymus came and gently took the crystal from his friend. He quickly handed the crystal to Jareth with a bow. Sir Didymus gently took Hoggle's arm and gently guided him back to stand with Ludo saying "Mayhap we should let the kind healer finish his tale."

He then whispered in a voice heard by everyone "Mayhaps my good friend, don't forget that thou cannot manhandle thy king"

Hoggle blushed and looked scared as he stammered an apology. Jareth impatiently waved him to be quiet. Jareth then looked at the crystal and demanded "Well, answer Hoggle's question."

It showed how affected Jareth was if he didn't even noticed he used Hoggle's correct name. Amil looked at him directly and said "I don't know what attacked her. All her injuries are from her car crashing. I will have to go to the crash site for clues. Also there is something else I must investigate here."

Jareth looked at him questionly "What?"

Amil answered "I will let you know when I have the answers. I must go now."

He shut off the crystal and then proceeded to leave the hospital after telling the nurses to contact him if his patient awakens before the morning.

Once out of the hospital he found a secluded spot and transformed into a Kingfisher (picture above). He then flew quickly to the site of Sarah's crash. Once there he saw police still there surveying the area. The truck that hit Sarah's car was still at the top of the hill while Sarah's car was still at the bottom of the hill. Sarah's car was crumpled and folded in on itself. It was a miracle that she didn't have any worst injuries.

He quickly flitted to the truck and landed on the roof. The front of the truck was completely caved in. Amil listened to two of the police officers speaking.
