Things were awkward between Stan and Kyle that day. Kyle didn't even remember what happened last night.
And Stan would prefer not to have to explain what had happened the night before to Kyle anyways.
And since Kyle didn't remember, Stan was devastated that Kyle wouldn't be able to justify if he was actually in love with him or not without making things awkward between them again.
But he knew that there would always be time enough for all of that later.
Stan decided to talk to Kenny about his situation instead. Kenny was basically a mind reader when it came to these kinda things anyway, so Stan was sure that Kenny could help.
"Hey Kenny"
Stan saw Kenny in the hallway and made his way over to him.
"Sup"
"Uh Kenny, can I talk to you about something"
"Yeah, sure " Kenny shrugged, "what's up?"
"Well uhm...so like you know how I like Kyle right?"
"Wait, actually?!?!?! I never knew that!! "
"Anyways, after the party yesterday me and Kyle were like pretty fucked up so he stayed over at my house-"
"Get to the point"
"We pretty much fucked"
Kenny stared blankly at Stan " And???"
"Dude he doesn't remember so I don't know if actually does like me or it was just the vodka talking"
"Then ask him? " Kenny shrugged "Idk"
"I mean, yeah but it's kind of awkward"
Kenny thought for a moment before replying "Dude, I'll be blunt with you and tell you that I think you should do that anyways. You two are best friends. You need to talk to him."
Stan groaned hesitantly.
"Dude the worst thing that he can say is No, just do it"
Stan rolled his eyes, but nodded reluctantly
"But istg if he says no I'm blaming you for even giving me the courage to ask him"
"Whatever, dude"

During lunch, Stan found Kyle again. He was sitting alone by himself in the corner.
He slid in next to him.
Kyle jumped as he noticed Stan sitting next to him.
"Hey dude."
"Hey Stan"
"So uh like I wanted to ask you something"
"Sure, what is it?"
Stan took a deep breath before saying
"I'm in love with you, Kyle"
