"As soon as Prince Oliver left, Diana rushed over to me

"So tell me, what did he say to you?" she asked, her eyes wide with excitement.

"He told me he would marry me,"

"Oh my god!That's amazing news!"

I wasn't sure how to feel. On the one hand, I was happy that the prince had finally agreed to marry me. But on the other hand, I was worried about the "condition" he had mentioned. What could it be

"Why don't you seem happy?" Diana asked

"I'm not happy at all. He said he would marry me, but there's a condition."

"A condition?, What could it be?"

I shook my head, my mind racing. I had no idea what Prince Oliver's condition could be, but I was sure it wasn't going to be easy to meet. I felt a pit of dread forming in my stomach.

"I don't know what it is, He said he would tell me right after the wedding."

Diana's face fell. "I don't think it's a good idea for you to marry him, I don't trust him. He's up to something."

I bit my lip, considering her words. I had to admit, I was a bit suspicious of the prince's motives as well.

"Why? I've had dreams about this day for years. I've already been parading myself around as the future queen. Do you want Ava and her friends to make fun of me?"

"I'd rather have a forced wedding than a marriage based on a secret condition, You can't trust the prince, no matter how charming he seems."Diana said

"It's not a forced wedding, He came to me of his own free will."

"It's obvious that he was coerced into doing that, After all, he said he didn't care about the promise. Clara, you have to think about this."

"There's nothing to think about, I'm getting married in four days, whether it's forced or not."

"Four days?" Diana asked, her eyes wide. "That's so soon!"

"It doesn't matter, I need to tell my mother the good news."

"Just be careful with him, I don't want you to get hurt."

"Diana, I know you care about me, But Oliver isn't a bad person. I've known him for years."

"That was then, People change, Clara. I'm just trying to protect you."

I was silent, not knowing what to say. I wanted to believe that Prince Oliver was still the same person I had known all those years ago, but I knew that things had changed.

OLIVER NIGHT P.O.V

"I heard you've already chosen a day for your wedding," Queen Marigold said as I entered the room.

"News spreads quickly," I said with a smile, sitting down beside her.

"Yes, of course, But why did you choose the date so soon? Don't you think it's too soon?"

I shifted in my seat, "I know, The reason is that I need to get back to the city. I have a lot of work waiting for me, so that's why I was quick to choose the date."

"You've done well, my son,"

But my expression remained grim. "Just remember, I have no feelings for that girl, You and father forced me to marry her."

There was an uncomfortable silence in the room. Queen Marigold looked at me"You'll grow to like her, It's only for a short period of time. You'll like her once you start living together."

I started laughing, then took a bite of the apple I had been holding. "You really think so, Mother? You can force me to marry her, but you can't force me to love her. I don't think that can happen, even in this world or the next, not even in my dreams or my wildest imagination."

"We'll just have to see," Queen Marigold said

"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink," I said, his tone light and sarcastic. I smirked, then took another bite of my apple.............
