CHAPTER 30.{THE END }

Two years later, I remarried Oliver Night, and became Mrs. Clara Night-Oliver. I officially took Ariel as my daughter, and we formed a close bond. She had blossomed into a beautiful young woman, and I was so proud of her. I also got the chance to visit my mother's burial ground, and say a proper goodbye.

As I stood at the gravesite, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I knew my mother was at peace, and that she was finally happy. I wiped a tear from my eye, and smiled. It was time to move on.

Scarlett got transferred out of the country for work, and later made up with Tony. They ended up getting married, and living happily ever after.

Diana went back to the village, where she helped the locals with their daily tasks. Ava, the self-proclaimed "witch", stayed in the city, always nagging me to make her rich. It was quite funny, really, but I couldn't take her seriously.

The most amusing part was that she seemed to have her eye on Caleb. I thought to myself, "That girl is a piece of work."

Lillian's whereabouts remained a mystery, and Summer never returned from the state. But Oliver had changed. He had become the man I always knew he could be.

He was attentive, loving, and kind. He showered me with affection, and pampered me with everything I could ever want.

I was happy beyond measure that he had returned to his old self. I felt like the luckiest woman in the world.

"And that's the end of the story," I said, smiling at my children

"So they all lived happily ever after?" Ariel asked, her eyes wide with wonder.

"They sure did," I said, giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"So, I'm going to be sharing a room with Ava now?" Zoe asked, her brow furrowed.

I nodded. "That's right. But don't worry, you'll have your own space and privacy."

"Yay!" Zoe exclaimed, hugging Ariel. "Now you're my precious baby sister!"

"For sure, big sis!" Ariel said, giggling.

"Mom, what about me? I'm going to be sleeping alone in that big room!" Zion said

"Oh, someone's scared," Zoe teased. "I thought you were a boy."

"Thank goodness you said that! I 'm a boy, which means I'm still a baby! So I can't sleep alone!"

"Hell no, Mr. Zion! Get out of our room!"

"That's enough, kids!" I said, trying to diffuse the situation. "Zion, go to your room. I'll sleep with you tonight."

"But, Mom!" Zoe whined. "That's not fair!"

I shot her a look, and she quieted down

"Duh, Mom," Zion said, sighing. "Thanks, but I need a baby brother to share a room with." He stood up, looking expectantly at me.

"Wow, you really need a baby brother," I said, laughing.

"Yes, Mom, please promise me you'll do that for me," Zion said, his eyes pleading.

"I promise, I will try my best," I said, smiling at him.

"I love you, Mom," he said, giving me a hug. Then he headed off to his room

"Time for bed, girls," I said, turning off the lights. I gave them both a kiss on the forehead, then closed the door behind me.

I made my way to Zion's room, but before I could get there, I felt someone grab me from behind. I turned around to see Oliver, his arms wrapped around me, pulling me close.

"What are you doing?" I asked, a smile tugging at my lips
.
"Where are you going?" he asked

"I'm going to sleep with my baby, He's the only one here who's alone."

"What about me?" Oliver asked, making a mock-sad face. I couldn't help but laugh.

"You'll just have to make do with me," I said, kissing him on the cheek.

"I'll make do," he said, pulling me close and kissing me on the lips.

"What about fulfilling the promise you made to Zion?" Oliver said with a smirk.

"What promise?" I asked, playing dumb.

"A baby brother!" he exclaimed, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Let's make a baby brother for Zion."

"No way!" I said, laughing. "That's not happening."

"Oh, but it is!" he said, picking me up and carrying me like a bride over the threshold. "Let's go make a baby." He whispered in my ear, his breath tickling my neck................THE END ✨🤍

"And that is my story, I'm still living together with my husband and my children, including the darling Ariel. She's such a special girl, and I love her so much."

I paused, collecting my thoughts. "I have one piece of advice for all the young people out there. Don't make promises that you can't keep. Every bad and no matter what, always keep your word."

"Don't hurt women," I continued. "We're fragile like eggs, and we need to be treated with care. And women, we need to stop being each other's enemies. We're all one, and we need to live in unity. I still remain Mrs. Clara Night-Oliver."I ended my story with a smile

"And that's the end of our story, betrothed to the prince.................
