Diana sat down outside, deep in thought. The conversation with Clara had been heavy
FLASH BACK 💥
"I'll miss you too," Diana said

"I'll miss you too, But I'm so scared. What if I leave and something happens to me?"

"Then you don't have to leave, It's not too late to change your mind."

"But he's already waiting for me in the car,"

"He doesn't love you,"

"I'll win him back, No matter what it takes."

"Are you sure?, Please be careful."

"I know,But I'm scared. of his condition"

FLASH END ✨
"What kind of conditions is he asking for?" Diana muttered to herself. "I hope nothing bad happens to my friend. If it does, I'll never forgive him."

Just then, Ava approached Diana. "I think you should be given a higher position by now, After all, your friend is now the prince's wife."

Diana's patience snapped. "I don't have time for this gossip, And I'm certainly not in the mood to hear it. So if you don't mind, please stop talking."

"I don't care if you're in a good mood or not," Ava snapped. "You don't have to be so rude!"

Diana spun around, anger blazing in her eyes. "What's your problem, huh? I said I'm not in the mood to talk! Can't you take a hint?, Just leave me alone!"

"I have some information that might interest you," Ava said

"What kind of information?"

"I know about the conditions the prince, Oliver, gave to Clara to marry him," Ava said, a sly smile playing on her lips.

Diana's eyes widened in surprise. "How did you find out about that?"

"That's the thing about me," Ava said, her smile growing wider. "I'm Ava the Witch - I know everything!"

"Just tell me!" Diana demanded

"Well, on their wedding day, I overheard Oliver talking to someone on the phone. He was saying that he was only marrying Clara so he could make her his maid, And the other person he was talking to sounded like his real wife! So they're clearly planning something big for Clara."

"How can you be so sure of this?"

"Come on, have I ever given you false information before?" Ava asked, putting her hands on her hips. "I'm telling you the truth here. You can believe me or not, but it's up to you."

Diana sighed, not sure what to believe. She wanted to trust Ava, but the story was so outlandish that it was hard to believe.

CLARA ROSEWOOD P.O.V
As Oliver drove in , I  had already changed into the rags he had given me. The dress was uncomfortable, but I had no other choice. When he pulled up to his house, I couldn't help but be impressed by its size and beauty. I couldn't deny that it was a very grand house.

Oliver packed his things into the car and then stepped out,"Come on," he said, motioning for me to get out of the car.I stepped out, shaking nervously.

"Listen, Clara," he said, looking me in the eye. "Remember the deal you signed and the conditions you agreed to. You can't back out now, not until the six months are up."

"I heard you!" I snapped, In response, he grabbed me by the arm, his nails digging into my skin.

"Ow!" I cried out, trying to pull away. "You're hurting me!"
He let go, but not before giving me a look that made me shudder.

"Listen, You don't have the right to speak to me like that. I'm your boss, and you're my slave. Don't forget that."

As he turned to leave, he stopped and looked back at me. "Oh, and one more thing,When you meet my wife, you will respect her. If you disrespect her in any way, you will regret ever meeting me. Now, go and bring the bags inside."

"Yes"

"Yes sir, From now on, you will call me 'Sir, And you will show me respect. Is that clear?"

I nodded, unable to speak. He turned and walked away, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I wiped away my tears and picked up the bags, carrying them inside.

I looked up and saw Oliver standing with a woman, his arms wrapped around her. They were hugging and kissing each other passionately. I felt my heart sink as I watched them. After a few minutes, I cleared my throat.

"Where should I put these, sir?" I asked, my voice shaking slightly.

The woman looked at me, her eyes cold and calculating. She walked over to me "So it's you, You're the princess, huh?"

I couldn't bear to look at her, so I averted my gaze. She grabbed my chin and yanked my face towards hers.

"When I'm talking to you, you look at me," she hissed, her eyes flashing with anger. "You hear me, you home-wrecking little tramp?"

She slapped me across the face, the sting of her hand burning my cheek. I stumbled back, the shock of her attack leaving me dizzy.

"Yes, ma'am," I said, my voice shaking as I tried to hold back my tears.

"You'd better remember who I am.I'm Oliver's wife, and we're engaged. You need to know your place."

I was too stunned to respond. I was only just realizing how much trouble I was in. And then I heard Oliver's voice.

"I'm sorry Babes, I forgot to her your name," he said, not even bothering to look up from his phone.

"Hey there, Wrench, My name is Viola Hawthorne. Let me show you around the house."

I followed her into the kitchen, feeling like a prisoner in my own home.

"This is the kitchen," she said, pointing to the appliances. "I'm sure you know what a kitchen is. You're not an idiot, are you?"

"No," I managed to choke out, my voice barely above a whisper.

She backhanded me across the face, and I stumbled backwards. Then she grabbed my hair, pulling it hard. I cried out in pain.

"You will address me with respect,Do you understand me?"viola said

"Yes," I said, my eyes watering. "I'm sorry, ma'am."

"Better,Listen, don't think you're queen around here. You're nothing but a servant. If it wasn't for the stupid promise Oliver made to you, I'd be the queen, not you. But whatever, that's not important. The fact is, Oliver loves me, and you're just a distraction to him. You're annoying and useless. I can't stand the sight of you. What's your stupid name again?"

"Clara ma'am," I said, my voice trembling.

pulling me closer. I could feel the heat of her breath on my face "Clara," Viola said, releasing me. "From now on, you will follow my instructions and obey my rules. You are not Oliver's wife, and I am. You understand?"

"Yes, ma'am," I said again, my whole body shaking.

She turned to leave, but then she stopped and turned back to face me."Welcome to hell, my dearest," she said, a cruel smile on her face. She blew me a mocking kiss and then walked away.

I stood there, frozen in terror. What had I gotten myself into? This was going to be worse than I could have ever imagined...........
