“So how exactly do I do this?” I ask Sara and Will.

We are standing in the middle of the bowling alley. We picked out our balls. I guess normally I would have a larger weight ball, since this one feels weightless to me. But my two friends wouldn't allow me to have a ball larger then the weight of 10 pounds, saying that I could drop my ball on my stomach since this was my first time bowling.

“You seriously don't know how to bowl do you?” Sara asks me in aw. Apparently bowling is something that people are raised doing here.

I shook my head. “Hayden had talked about taking me when we were on my honeymoon. But we were.........well preoccupied with better things to do.” I blushed a deep shade of embarrassed scarlet.

Will laughs at my awkward feeling. “Aw, hon, most newly wed couples are jumping each others bones as soon as they leave the rehersal.”

Sara whacks him hard in the arm. “No wonder your gay, most girls probably turned you down.”

“Doll, I have always been gay, thank you very much.” Will says in a matter of fact tone of voice, as if offended that he was once said to be straight.

“Can we please stop talking about my love life. He's gone for a while at least.” I said, looking away. “I just want to stop talking about him.”

Sara gave me a lopsided smile. “Now you roll the ball down the alley way and try to knock over all of the pins. Like this.” She demonstrated a flawless serve I guess you call them. It went flying towards the pins and knocked them all over with one hit.

Will gave her a high five. “Amazing, Sar.”

“Thank you, thank you.” she said, mock bowing. She turns to me. “Your turn.”

I tried and only knocked down half of the pins. I tried again and missed all of them. I groaned. “I'm hopeless.”

“It's just your first time.” Will said, trying to encourage me.
