We got a surprise. Part 2 of 3

Okay I was wrong, the kid showed up wearing everything Cece bought him, but I was still keeping my eyes on him, Cece had to cook make a cake, and bae gave Manuel some more cash, the kid told Cece he could like him if he wasn't with me, bae started laughing and said I'm not a bad guy it just takes me awhile to trust people.

We had lunch and cut the cake, I did ask Manuel where he lives, and what's his father's name maybe I can find him, Manuel said he doesn't know what his father's name is, he left after his mother had him, I think the kid is lying.

While Cece is talking to Manuel, I asked the household staff have they ever seen Manuel in the village, the cook said he's seen him around, he's always by himself. I asked him what he knows about the kid, cook said the kid has no family, Mr. Alexander paid someone to take care of him, but they just took the money and went to the bigger Island and left Manuel here.

I did ask him what he knew about Manuels parents, he said his mother was a hard seasonal worker, and the father was a mean drunk and would beat her, he never came back for Manuel when the mother died. A part of me felt sorry for the kid, I asked cook would he consider taking care of Manuel, I'll pay him myself, he said he has ten kids, and his wife wouldn't like him bringing another kid home, he's already taken in three kids.

I don't think I'll look for Manuels father, he could hurt him, and it would be my fault, maybe bae can think of something, I don't like hearing a kid is alone. I went back into the house and Manuel was gone, bae said he needed to go, he did let him take the food and the cake, he told me we need to find Manuels father. I told him no, I talked to the cook he knows Manuel, and his father is a mean drunk he could hurt the kid. I told him he has to help me think of something, so that Manuel will be safe when we leave here.

James! it looks like you're having second thoughts about your little con kid, bae said he just doesn't like to see a kid hurt and alone, just help him find a solution to help Manuel, I told him I'll try, but it will be hard, most of the people here are just seasonal workers with their own families.

Later bae and I took a swim on the beach, I forgot I lost the bet, so I had to let Cece have me any way he wanted me on the beach, he fucked the hell out of me, my legs were weak from all the dick he was giving me. But my mind was on Manuel, I wonder where he sleeps, after we finished, we went back to the house, the cook told me there's something I should see in the pool house, we went there, and Manuel is asleep.

Cook said he didn't have the heart to wake him up, I asked him to get a blanket, he can stay here, bae said he looks so innocent sleeping, I told him that's the only time that kid looks innocent. Cook brought back a blanket, I put it over him, and we left, Cece said maybe we should bring Manuel into the house. I told him he's fine, it's a nice night, we went to our room and showered, bae got into bed, and I walked out on the balcony and stared at the pool house.

Why is that kid getting to me, bae told me to come to bed, I'm the one who said Manuel will be fine out there, I walked into the room and got in bed with him, bae went to sleep, and I just stared at the ceiling.

The next morning, I woke up and Cece isn't in bed, I got up and went to the balcony, I saw bae and that kid having breakfast on the terrace, Cece waved at me. I went back into the room and took a quick shower and got dressed, I went downstairs and out to the terrace, bae said good morning and I gave him a kiss, Manuel looked at us and said we're those kind of people.

I asked him does he know what kind of people we are, he said yes, we're too men that kiss, I told him we do that, and we're married and love each other, he asked us where's our kid, I told him we don't have one, he said people get married and have kids, what's wrong with me.

I told him there's nothing wrong with me, and why did he only ask me that, he said because he knows Cece likes kids, so it had to be something wrong with me, I told him I like kids, I just don't like kids who con people. Anyway, since he's here I've been thinking he can work for us while we're here, and he can sleep in the house and have his own room, he said only if he gets paid, and he can lock the door at night. I told him deal, after breakfast he can go on the beach and make sure no one is there, who shouldn't be, he said he can do that.

I ate breakfast and Manuel said he's going down to the beach and patrol the area, he left, and Cece told me, deep down I'm a softy when it comes to kids, look how I am with Dyland, I told him I'm just trying to help that kid out while we're here.

Manuel came running back and said there was a lady on the beach, she was looking at the house, when she saw him, she ran away. I wonder if she's the same lady I saw before, I asked Manuel has he ever seen her before, he said she looks like the lady who got here a few days before we did. I asked him did he know where she was staying, he said no, but he's seen her eating at the place we had lunch the other day.

Cece asked me am I going there to talk to her, I told him maybe I will, she's been warned to stay off that beach. Manuel said he'll go with me, I told him he's staying here, I'm paying him to look after the beach, I kissed Cece and told him I'm going to the village. I got a jeep and went to the village, I went into the restaurant, and looked around, I didn't see her, I went outside I started to leave when I think the woman, I saw on the beach went in.

I got out of the jeep and walked in I grabbed her by the arm, and told her she's been warned before that the beach she keeps coming to is private, she looked up from her big hat, and I couldn't believe who it was. She took my hand and led me outside, okay Ruth why are you pretending to be dead, Dyland was so hurt thinking that you were.

James, I had to, if anyone found out I was alive, it would've put Dyland in danger, he said but I died in his arms, I told him I took something that made him think I was dead. He asked me why I was in Savannah, I told him I had to see Dyland, I had to see if he's happy, James said he is, but no thanks to me, it really hurt Dyland. I told him if I had shown myself, they would've gotten Dyland to get to me, so I stayed away, I knew he would be in good hands with you James. And I'm sure you know now that Dyland is marrying an Alexander he will always be watched, I thought if I could see him here before people came, I could tell him everything. And I wanted to see our brother on his special day, he's so handsome and EJ makes him happy.

Yes, he is, Ruth, okay when Dyland gets here, I'll make arrangements for you to see him, he might be upset, but he'll get over it once he sees you, she said thanks, she better get going, I told her get her lunch and when our brother gets here, she'll know. I got in my jeep and left; I hope this doesn't mess Dyland up before his special day.

I went back to the house, Cece is on the beach with Manuel playing with a ball, I walked down there, bae stopped kicking the ball, he ran up to me, he asked me did I find that woman, I told him no, but I'll look for her again, I hated lying to Cece, but it's for his own good. Manuel said Cece told him we're going to have dinner on the beach, I told him I'd like that, I just stared at him, I had to snap out of it, that kid is starting to get to me.

Cece told me he's taking Manuel to the village, he's going to buy him some new swimming trunks and other things a kid will need, and he's buying him something to wear to the wedding. I asked bae who invited him, Cece said I want Manuel to come, right, Manuel looked at me, I said sure he can come, they left, and I walked along the beach, that kid is getting to me, and I'm afraid Cece is feeling some type of way about him too.
