I Just wanna hear your voice- Jaden.

Third person point of view.

Jaden and Lila were the perfect couple, sure they had ups and downs but they were always perfect. They loved each other so much supporting each other no matter what, Lila went to his games and cheered everytime, Jaden went to everyone of her  dance competitions bringing her flowers every time a smile on his face every time he saw her afterwards. But what got complicated? Both schedules became a hot mess as soon as Lila started doing higher ranking dance competitions and well Jaden joined the Phillies Scout  team which she was so happy for him and he was extremely proud of her. But the bigger you get the more you lose people, the more and more they do stuff the more they forget about each other, never coming to support each other simply saying very few words to each other. They wanted the old them back, the happy no stop seeing each other and loving each other . But they knew. It wasn't gonna be like that, not anymore. And when a heated argument raised between the couple they made an irrational  decision to end it, deep down they both didn't want that, at all. Lila felt her heart crumble into pieces as soon as the words,"Then we should just end it if you're so unhappy!" slipped out jaden's lips. 

Jaden felt his breath get stuck in the pit of his stomach when the small mutter fell from her lips "fine! go be with whoever you want!"  they both didn't want this. They stared at each other  in anger, their eyes reflecting anger but behind that dark feeling it was hurt. Jaden simply yelled "I'm leaving and not coming back to you!" his voice cracking feeling the emotions catching up to him. Her lips quivering tears started to slip out her eyes "fine by me! have fun with whoever you wanna be with!"  her nails digging into her palms cutting it, only to stop herself from crying in front of him.  As soon as that door shut with jaden out it, she crumbled falling to her knees sobbing with her hands over her mouth breaking down, her breathing staggering caught in her throat. And as soon as jaden stepped into his car , he punched the steering wheel harder and harder until his knuckles became busted and tears streaming down his face he wanted to scream so loud until he couldn't speak anymore. That's what he wanted to do but he knew he couldn't, so he just drove home his hands gripping the steering wheel hard with tears almost permanently stained to his face. 

The next couple months became harder than people expected, Lila never was the same she was almost lost in a  cycle  that never ended. Her competitions never felt the same since getting use to meeting jaden after , same to jaden he never felt the same with games his love was baseball but that grew when Lila joined his life and always went to see him play he practically looked forward to every game to hear her yell his name when he went up to swing. Now everything seemed out of balance. It was now what would've been there anniversary and jaden was sitting  looking at his phone hesitating wondering if he should or not. He's been wanting to grab his phone and just dial her number for months since that night. Sometimes he'd even dial it and when she'd answer he'd hang up right away, sure he loved her voice and had  videos of her talking but nothing beat hearing it for himself. While jaden would do the phone trick, she'd be watching movies, listening to music getting lost in the lyrics just to replace the silence that was left behind once his laughs had disappeared. She remembered there late night drives when he'd just randomly lean over and kiss her which would end with them laughing hysterically , but now whenever they hear the songs they use to blast on the radio they change it before they can listen to it.

They were practically fighting themselves not to call each other even if they missed each other a lot more than usual. Lila was now laying in her bed staring up at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep. It's been like this since the breakup never able to get comfortable or fall asleep easily almost completely restless, jaden doing the same. That's when a rang came through the room making her turn to it quickly grabbing it and answering it "hello...." her phone rang through the phone to jaden, his words caught in his throat. "jaden...is that you..." her voice was cracking and shaking waiting to hear his voice to answer practically begging to hear his voice speak to her. "Listen jaden... if this is you.. please talk to me I miss you...so much. I miss the late night calls, the cheering each other on I miss everything i miss you so much jaden. Please just talk to me. I know you said to me your not gonna do it anymore but I just can't do this without you here....just please call me." and with that she hung up. Jaden was froze tears flowing down his face he didn't realize how much he missed her voice until now. 

It was the next day when she got a call. "hello this is lila.." thats when she least expected "hey love...it's me....." she almost dropped her phone when she heard his voice "j-jaden hi...... w-we need to talk..". Which broke a smile on his face "yeah we do.... meet me for lunch tomorrow?" she leaped at the request "yes omg yes... see you tomorrow.."

They finally did it. They heard each others voices. And just because of that, that showed there story wasn't near done. It was just beginning all because he wanted to hear her  voice.
