I ran down the hallway taking all the corners to sharp and skidding across the floor, good thing the hall monitors didn't catch me I made to the door. "Phew, just in time." I mumbled under my breath just as the tardy bell rang. I squeaked and was about to go into class until someone slammed me into the wall by the door.

"Hey cutie, we meet again eh?" He said, it was Jake, the creepy stalker kid.

"What do you want?" I demanded.

"Well since ya asked, wanna hang with me and my buddy?" He said with smirk across his face I wanted to punch right off.

"Absolutely not you creep!" I screamed at him.

"Hey! I'm not creepy!" He said defensively.

"Oh yeah?!" I retorted. "Well the was do you call someone who stalks people?!"

"Wait, you knew I was watching you during freshman year?"

"Ah ha! Melissa was-" he cut me off.

"Whose Mel-" a teacher cut him off.

"Are you two going to class?" The teacher asked us with an unamused look on her face.

"Yes, I was just about to go when someone stopped me from doing so." I said as I glared at Jake.

"Pft, school is dumb! I'm skipping." Jake said, apparently trying to get on her bad side.

"Nuh-uh-uh mister, you're going to class." She told him.

"Bet." A smirk appeared on his face.

"I can suspend you for this."

"Okay, okay, fine, I'll go." He said as he reluctantly left.

Then I was finally able to go to class just as the teacher started teaching

"Hey, Katie, how was class?" I heard a voice say and turned to see it was Melissa.

"Pretty boring, those hours I missed last night almost caught up to me." I snickered

"That's not a good idea."

"Oh come on, why not?" I whined.

She rolled her eyes at me. "Whatever." She was pretty annoyed. "Okay changing the subject, class do you have next?" She asked, obviously changing the subject.

"Freaking math, oh how I hate math. How 'bout you?"

"P.E." She said then rolled her eyes.

"Do you not like P.E. or something?"

"Nah it's literally my favorite class." She said sarcastically.  "Yes, I absolutely despise it." She said.

"Dang."

She gasped. "I just had the best idea!"

"Do I want to know?"

"Of course you do!"

"Okay, what is it?"

"We switch classes!"

"Melissa... that is one of the dumbest yet smartest thing I have ever heard."

"But neither of us like our classes that we have. I like yours and you like mine so."

"Yeah no, not gonna happen. I have tryed, doesn't work."

She hung her head. "But Kaitlyn." She whined.

With that we parted ways, she went off to the locker room, then gym while I went to my locker.

"Hey," I heard a deep voice say from behind me, immediately recognizing the voice has Jake.

I snapped at him. "What do you want, creep!?

"How did you know it was me?"

"You've been bothering me all day so of course I know it's you. So what the heck do you need?"

"Ah, well I'm glad you asked."

"Stop acting mysterious and get to the fricken point."

"Emily... I want a girlfriend!"

"Uh-uh, no way, you're not worth my time."

With that he walked over to who I'm assuming is his friend with a sad expression on his drooping face.

I over heard a little bit of his conversation, stuff like:

"...Say yes?..." From his friend.

Then I heard Jake had an upset tone.

"...Everything..." From Jake.

"...Cause she hot don't mean..." From his friend.

After some other mumbled words Jake walked back over to me and said: "Emily, be my girlfriend!"

I punched him square in the nose without giving a response. Jake crawled back over to his friend

"...Different plan...Somewhere else..." From his friend then they walked off.
