14. Why the sudden smile???

Author's POV:

Days are going like tortoise speed for Porsche because he can't understand the rules and regulations properly inside the Theerapanyakul clan. Because of his mischievous attitude, he brings problems for himself and others, especially Pete.

Now they're practising swimming in the pool for tomorrow's swimming test. Last week, Porsche ended up last place, and Ken mocked him, "Nice one loser." Porsche was adamant, and he was training hard and Pete counting the numbers.

Meanwhile, Pete's colleagues, aka friends Arm and Pol, came together for swimming practice, and they started to have a conversation with Pete.

Pol: Hey Pete....

Arm: Good evening....

Pete: Good evening.... Are you guys ready for tomorrow's test???

Pol: Well, that's why we came for the practice, haha....

Arm: This Porsche really wants revenge on Ken....

Pete: We are practising for a week, and he wants to win over Ken. Otherwise, he will kill him with his mischievous plan.

Porsche: What happened, Pete??!!! Why did you stop in the middle???

Pete: Sorry, Porsche!!!

Arm: Actually, tomorrow's test was postponed.

Pol, Porsche & Pete: What???!!!!

Arm: Yeah, tomorrow is the monthly meeting.

Porsche: What is the monthly meeting???

Pete: Well, the Theerapanyakuls were separated as two clans, the major and the minor. The minor family members are going to attend the monthly meeting for the mafia issues and business issues here in the major family compound. And...... How do you know about the tests being postponed, Arm???

Arm: Because Chan is in charge and he's going to be busy with Khun Korn tomorrow, that's why I know, and also I'm in the cyber wing for what????

Pol: Anyways, guys, get ready for tomorrow, and Porsche, please don't do anything nonsense. Otherwise, you'll be dead tomorrow by both clans.

Porsche: Okay......

Like that they practised swimming for an hour and they went to their rooms. Pete was sleeping, but his thirst for woke him up drank water from the table and remembered about the dream he had a month and half ago, and he was scared to sleep for the past few days.

He thought that he was growing up and having normal hormonal issues and started to do yoga for controlling himself down and to live like a saint until the age of 25. Because he planned to marry after 25 because of physical and mental maturity.

He knows about the term "omegaverse" and " alpha, beta, and omega" because he learned these from the island people but when he was in Australia no-one taught him and also in Brett family these terms were foreign to them.

He doesn't have any reactions like having alpha or omega trait, so he thought that he's a normal human, aka others call him Beta. He learned that his maternal family members were being alphas and omegas. So he confirmed that he's Beta. Then he slept off.

The sun was risen above and Pete was checking on the security and he is perfect about checking any errors because after he joined as a bodyguard the attack on Theerapanyakuls became less and less and he makes sure of it.

Pete's POV:

Then everyone stood up on the line in front of the gate, and the minor family cars came inside the compound. Porsche and I were standing near the gate, and the minor family members were came.

There's everyone in the family who covered their real face with masks, but unfortunately, I know that Khun Gun is really a sly guy and Khun Macau, who was lost in the middle Mafia world. But this guy....... Vegas Kornwit Theerapanyakul.

Yes, Khun Vegas is really strange, and I don't want to be involved with him. Otherwise, he will suck me inside of his mysterious dark world, or I will be dead. I heard that he's a cruel and ruthless guy who gains pleasure by torturing his enemies and betrayers.

He walks near to the bodyguards with unreadable expression, but when he comes near to me and Porsche, he smiles, but why???? Has he smiled because of me or Porsche??? I think it's because of him due to his cheeky and bright personality.

Porsche: Why suddenly he smiled in front of you??? I think you're handsome, that's why.

Pete: Yeah, I think so......

Thanks to Porsche for talking to me. Otherwise, I will end up thinking about why he smiled suddenly. OK....... now everyone went inside the compound and Porsche went to the garden and I went inside the conference room whether to check whether everything was fine or not.
