Chapter 9: The New Reverse-Flash

3 Months Later

Barry was at STAR Labs.

Allegra and he were waiting for Eobard to finish his session with Caitlin.

They were cuddled up together at the desk waiting in the Cortex.

Bart and Nora were at the other computers sitting down.

Bart had put his arms on the desk and laid his head on his arms.

Nora groans and asks "When do you think Eobard will be out?"

Bart says "Sis, I'm trying to sleep. I'm sure he'll be fine." as he speaks in his arms.

Barry says "I hope so. It's been three months since his... attempt."

Nora says "We should have dealt with this in the future, not here."

Barry said, "I'm sorry, but when it comes to you kids, we decide what we do for you, kids."

Allegra says "Barry... come on. Don't talk to them like that."

Barry says "I'm sorry, but it's the truth. We are the parents, not them."

Allegra says "I agree with that, but you can't just..."

Barry groans as he doesn't want to hear it.

Allegra says "Bartholomew. Don't groan. You and your daughter."

Barry says "She's your daughter too."

Allegra says "Nope. When she's asking like you, I'm gonna call her your daughter."

Barry says "Then, I'm gonna call Bart just your son."

Allegra smiles and says "He is. From what I could tell, he's a momma's boy."

Bart says "I am. Love you, Mom."

Allegra smiles and says "I love you too, honey."

Barry scoffs at that.

Allegra says "What? Jealous."

Barry says "I'm fine. I got Nora."

Nora giggles and says "Love you, Daddy."

Barry chuckles and says "I love you too, My Sweet Nora."

Allegra gets off of Barry's lap and says "I'll go sit with Bart, then."

Barry says "Fine."

She walks over to Bart and sits down next to him.

Barry just looks up at the ceiling.

Nora walks over and cuddles up to her Dad.

Barry smiles and hugs her tight.

Barry said, "Thank you, sweetie." as he kissed her forehead.

Bart says "At this point, he's just trying to make you jealous, Mum."

Allegra chuckles and says "Kids, you know that we're joking, right? You're father and I are just messing around because you two are bored."

Barry says "I wasn't joking. I'll take Nora." as he hugs her tighter.

Allegra says "Barry!"

Barry chuckles and says "What?" as he holds his daughter closer.

Bart chuckles and says "It's fine, Mom. He's just playing with you. Besides, he has that special connection with Nora."

Barry says "I love you too, Bart. I'm not picking favorites."

Bart says "I know, Dad."

Caitlin then walked out and said, "Hey, guys."

They all stand up Barry is hugging Nora still, and Allegra is holding Bart's hand.
