The Nektons look at me and then to each other.

"Alright." I say quietly. "I know that it was lost like three thousand years ago, it has some type of treasure and that my pop was obsessed with it. That's it."

"Well, you obviously knew about the monumentals. I mean, you've interacted with a giant sperm whale. A monumental." Ant said. He was making a couple hand gestures. Why was he so fascinated by a GIANT WHALE?! I mean, that's absolutely terrifying and he's just filled with wonder!

"Well, yeah...There was also a huge fish. I can't exactly remember what type." I furrow my brows, trying hard to remember what type of fish it was. Clownfish? No. That doesn't seem right. Anyway, it doesn't really matter.

"So...Y/N, you know things about Lemuria?" William looks at me and raises an eyebrow.

I only shrug. I've already told them everything I know. Lost for thousands of years. Possible treasure. Monumentals.

William looks at me, then back to Kaiko. It looks like there having a conversation with there eyes, which leaves me feeling a little awkward.

Instead of standing there I leave and go to what is now my room. I decide to just decorate, I mean, not much else left to do.

~~~
"Everyone to the bridge!" I hear Kaiko say on the communicator. I sigh and stretch. The Nektons had been kind enough to make me a temporary shelf. One that I can put my books and tokens and whatever else on. I take a look around the room and smile to myself, before walking out.
When I reach the bridge I see that Kaiko and Will are looking at... The sperm whale monumental. Why does it keep following us?
"Wow!" Ant whispers as he strolls next to me. I look at him, confused for a second, before remembering that he was fascinated by this sort of stuff. You know, terrifying things.
I almost don't notice Fontaine walk up next to me.
"Don't mind him Y/N. He's basically always like this." She jokes with me. I smile at her and play with my fingers. I need something to distract me. Reading maybe? Would they even let me leave the bridge?
Kaiko and Will aren't looking at us. Maybe I can sneak away? No, they'll notice I'm not here. I don't know what I was thinking.
The whale's eye is looking right at us now. I feel my body go rigid. Why am I so scared of this thing? It's just a whale.
The whale lets out a... I'm not actually sure what it was. A groan? It then turns around and leaves. Just... swims away! What the-
"What just happened?" Fontaine asked. She was looking at both her parents. What was going through their heads? Were they scared as well? Or were they just interested in where the monumental was going?
"I have no idea..." Ant whispered. Was he STILL in awe?! "But that...Was AWESOME!" His arms shoot up and I have to jump back to make sure I don't get hit.
"Ant." Kaiko places a hand on her hip and looks at him with a smile. Why isn't she more panicky?! I mean, just a couple seconds there was a GIANT WHALE outside!
I walk back to my room with Fontaine following behind me. We stop by her room first and she grabs her iPad. Probably to call what's-his-name. The pirate.
Once we make it to my room we sit on my bed and Fontaine calls, you'll never guess who, the pirate.
"What is your location?" Fontaine says quickly. Why does she need to know that. I curl up into a ball.
"What, you wanna come see me?" Pirate boy says. Seriously, why can't I remember his name? It's not like The Great Unkown is that scary.
"No. This is serious." Fontaine places a hand on my back comfortingly and then pulls it away.
"Uh...I don't know, not too far away from you though. About 200 meters North-West to you." He replies.
Fontaine raises an eyebrow. "What are you doing so close to us?" He just shrugs.
"Dad, well... You know what he's like." Fontaine sighs and turns to me.
"Y/N, I'll be right back. I need to let mum and dad know." She turns back to the iPad. "Finn, you need to get out of there." Finn, so that was his name, opens his mouth. Probably to ask why. "No, no questions. Leave. Now! You have something going your way."
With that she placed the iPad on my bed and ran out. I look at the iPad and then look away. The hell was I supposed to do with it? Talk to Finn? I think not. it's just going to be awkward. We don't know each other so it'll just be that awful small talk. You know, 'How's ocean life going for you?' 'Oh, you know, being chased by a giant sperm whale, and you?' "Pirate stuff, yada yada yada.' Yeah, no thanks.
"So... What's coming our way?" Great. Looks like I have to talk to him anyway.
"Giant sperm whale. About three times the size of a blue whale." I say. My voice sounds a little robotic.
Finn's eyes widen and he leaves very quickly. Probably to tell his dad to get the hell out of there. I stay seated and just stare at my feet. I think I'm just going to stay here for a little while. I'm definitely not going back to the bridge. What if The Great Unknown comes back? Yeah no, not leaving.
A/N: So sorry for not updating. I haven't really had anything to inspire me. I will try to write a little more, no promises though. This will also, most likely just be a self-insert. That may change later, but for now it's just a self-insert.
