...

"Try again, you've got your wings now."

"...Huh...?" I turn my head.

"Wait? What?" Helbram stares at King's back before painfully laughing. "Look! They finally came in! Even if they aren't the real deal yet."

"Helbram!"

"...Con...grats...King..." I smile softly.

"Thank you, Y/n. At least somebody cares." He sighs. "Alright, it's worth a try." King stands up and summons Chastiefol. "True Spirt Spear Chastiefol, Form Eight, Pollen Garden!"

...

Helbram watches very anxiously as the paleness in my face slowly fades back into color and the redness in my cheeks dull out and my uneven, heavy breathing stabilizing. I calmly sit up.

"That feels better." I smile as I watch their eyes light up.

"Never get sick again, this is stressful." Helbram sighs as he hugs me.

"I did it." King smiles.

"Looks like those baby wings are already being useful." Helbram laughs.

"Hey!" King snaps before sighing. "I'm really happy you're better now but..."

"But what?" I tilt my head.

"Me and Diane decided to go help the Sins out, you two can come if you want to but I think it's about time for us to leave."

"No, we're going to stay here." Helbram sighs. "Good luck, pipsqueak. Try not to cry too much."

"Why are you always such a jerk."

"That's what best friends are for." Helbram laughs.

"Bye King, good luck with Diane." I smile.

"Thank you, Y/n."

...

"So, what now?" Helbram asks.

"Gloxinia?" I look at him.

"What?" He answers.

"Magic Replenish." I say as I move my hand around.

"Thanks!" Gloxinia smiles.

"King's better but, he didn't-" I say before coughing.

"I see. Spirt Spear Basquias. Moon Rose!"

"Thank you." I smile as I can finally feel my lungs clear up and finally, I'm able to take a deep breath again. "That feels so much better."

"I'm just glad that's finally over. I didn't like seeing you like that." Helbram sighs.

"I wonder what happened, maybe I was just training too much?"

"I've never seen someone get that sick from training too much."

"Humans get sick all the time." Gloxinia adds.

"Not for a month straight." Helbram crosses his arms.

"Something slow progressing would."

"Demonic miasma." Drole says as he pretty much shows up out of nowhere, pretty hard for such a big guy.

"Hmm?" Gloxinia turns his head.

"If she's been using her demonic powers too much and her body isn't prepared for it, she could become sick as if she was in the demon realm." Drole explains. "For a demon it wouldn't be a problem, but she still has human blood."

"I suppose that makes sense." Gloxinia says. "Must be annoying, huh?"

"Better than being a normal human, right?" I smile.
