Chapter 17: Getting Ready For The Special Night

Excited for the evening plans with Issei, Celestia ate breakfast with the Lovelies as usual and went about her day as she normally would; playing in the garden and a check-up with the physician who told her that her physical injuries are healed but the mental ones he could not heal. She smiled a small smile and said she would be fine and that she is fine. Deciding to get some rest before the plans, she returned to her room and changed into her nightclothes. Moments after getting into bed, a knock on her door sounded and Gaya peaked her head in saying she had something for her from Issei. Knowing it would be the gift he told her about, she excitedly got up and opened the box seeing a beautiful collar in the colours she liked the most! It matched the dress she wore to the ball all those weeks ago with its blend of red, blue, and purple with some silver sparkles. Putting it on, she looked at herself in the mirror and adored the gift. Gaya, who was watching her with affection, spoke up. "It suits you, hun! I'm sure Sir is going to think so too!" Blushing, she thanked the Lovely and gave her a hug. A hug that spoke all the words she had kept inside; all the thank yous and sorries for worrying all of them.

After Gaya left, Celestia decided to try to take a nap to prepare herself for what may be a night of no sleep. Getting comfortable under covers, she closed her eyes and fell asleep. A few hours later, she was woken up by a knock on her door as a group of maids had come to help her get ready for her night with the King. Excited but still drowsy, she got up and stripped before stepping into the bath where the maids helped wash her hair and body. They say cats do not like water, but her and her family adore the water so after getting to bathe in a pool-sized tub of hot water, she was as relaxed as she could be. Thinking about it for a moment, she never did ask how he found her or how he got her back to the castle so quickly. These were questions she was going to ask before anything happened tonight.

Once she was dried off from the bath, she dressed in her favourite sheer nightdress that was red and black in colour with golden crescent moons for a pattern. She put her amethyst hair in a ponytail and let her bangs hang in her face instead of pinning them back like she usually does. Putting on her robe, she left her room and headed to Issei's like he had told her to. As she neared his door, her nervousness grew as well as her excitement. Despite the anticipation, she knew she needed to ask the questions she had on her mind. That she needed to talk to him about what happened to her in that cell. Reaching the door, she did not even need to knock because he sensed her out there and told her to come in. Obeying, she entered the room to see Issei sitting at his desk again but this time, he had no shirt on which revealed his well-toned muscles.

"Good evening, my Lovely. How was your day?" He asked her without looking up from his work. She replied that her day had been good and she loved her collar he had made for her. This got him to put down his pen and put aside his work. Getting up, he walked over to her and ran a hand down her cheek to her neck where a leash appeared just as he had said it would. Blushing, she began stumbling over her words as she tried to ask the questions she had which earned a chuckle from the King before her. Leading her over the bed, they sat down on the edge as she asked the questions she had for him.

"The other Lovelies never told you? My Lovely, I am a dragon shifter. But now any regular shifter. I am the Dragon of Dragons. All the dragons in the world are under my control and listen to my every command. When Gaya showed me where she had found your ring and the barrier that made it seem like one was running in circles, I flew over immediately. Their barrier was weak and shattered with a single touch. Once their barrier was gone, I could sense your presence and made my way towards you where I found you being held by another man who was feeding off you while that traitorous scum had that knife. Rage filled the air when I saw the state you were in and I took care of them with ease. After you passed out, I carried you in my arms as we flew back to the castle. NOBODY touches my Lovelies and gets away with it. You are safe and no one will hurt you ever again." He kissed her after answering her questions and repeated that she was his from the moment she accepted his invitation.

There is one more chapter but it is a bonus chapter that contains smut. The main story itself is finished so the bonus will not affect anything if you decide not to read it.
