"MARRY ME!" the loud proposal startled the two boys and looked towards the blonde who was bothering a girl?

A sparrow flew towards them and landed on Tanjiro's palm.
"Is that so?" he understood what to do now but before going to them, he noticed the excited stare from Ryu and moved the sparrow to him. He lifted his palms letting the sparrow to hop on them and he awed at it.

Tanjiro smiled but soon turned serious to help the girl out, "Hey! Can't you see that this lady is bothered by you?!" he shouted gaining the blonde's attention.

"Hey you're also from the final selection!" he pointed at him.

"I don't know you!"

"Now that I calmed down, I'm hungry." the boy named Agatsuma Zenitsu said and received a rice ball from Tanjiro.
"Aren't you two eating?"

"No, since that's all we had." Tanjiro answered which made him feel bad, so he split the rice ball in three parts and handed each of them one.

"Thanks." both of them said.

"Caw! Run! Run!" the crow declared.

Arriving in front of a giant mansion they could already tell that something was wrong with it. "Kids?" Tanjiro spotted two shivering siblings nearby and approached them. He calmed them down by showing them the sparrow.
"What happened here? Why are you both here?" Tanjiro asked.

"They took our brother away in that house." the boy said.

"You two are very brave you know that?" Tanjiro said, "What are your names?"

"Shoichi and Teruko."

"Did you guys heard it?" Zenitsu spoke and everyone went quiet and perked their ears. The top window of the building started to burst open and a body fell out.

"Ryu, close your eyes and ears!" y/n demanded and the said boy did as told. Tanjiro hurried over and inspected the young man, "Am I still going to die?" he asked in despair until the light left his eyes. Tanjiro hugged him being sorry that they didn't arrive earlier, then he looked at the kids fearing that...
"Is he..."

"That's not our brother!" They said, "He's wearing a orange yukata."

After laying down the man, he grabbed Ryu's shoulders causing him to open his eyes and remove his hands from his ears. Tanjiro walked him to the kids and took of his box, "That's Ryu," he introduced him, "He will stay with you two outside and please look after my box, it's more important than my life."

"Let's go Zenitsu," he declared but after seeing his new companion wasn't willing to come, he sighed in disappointment and his expression turned dark, "is that so... Then I'll go alone."

"Wait! I'm coming!"

Ryu's pov

"I'm Ryu, nice to meet you." I started because I didn't know them now.

"I'm Shoichi and this is Teruko." Shoichi introduced him and his sister.

"I'm telling you guys, there's no need to be scared because we're safe here. Demons can't go out during the day because they start burning if they do." I explained, "And Tanjiro-nii is very strong!"

"Ah! Something scratched from the box!" Teruko shouted in fear.

"Don't worry, that's Nezuko-nee. She's very nice!" I quickly said.
