No ones pov
They departed early so they could play longer in the festival.
They eagerly embraced the vibrant atmosphere of a local festival. Y/n's eyes sparkled with anticipation, reveled in the festive air as she clutched Tanjiro's hand. She was experiencing the world of festivals, and she couldn't contain her excitement.
They wandered through the lively stalls adorned with colorful lanterns, the aroma of street food wafting through the air. She insisted on trying every delicacy, from takoyaki to cotton candy, her laughter harmonizing with the rhythmic beats of traditional taiko drums.
"Mh! That's so good!" she exclaimed, "Guys look! There's more!" she pointed at the other food stalls.
"Slow down y/n," Tanjiro smiled, "you have enough time to try everything, there's no need to rush."
Amidst the lively crowd, Tanjiro guided her to various game booths, where they shared joyous moments testing their skills. Y/n, fueled by her infectious enthusiasm, triumphantly won a goldfish in a game of Yo-yo Tsuri, her laughter resonating like wind chimes in the cold breeze.
Inosuke yelled, "No! I want another match!"
"You can try beat me at other games, Inosuke!" she replied with a victorious grin.
Then, she spotted another game, "There are more goldfish!"Each of them tried it out, Inosuke glanced over y/n several times to see how many fish she caught but soon she sighed sadly as her net broke, "Seems like I'm out..."
"Oneesan! I'll catch the most pretties ones for you!" Ryu exclaimed.
"I'll look forward to it," she patted his head, but as he tried to catch another one, his' also broke.
"Hahaha! I'll win!" Inosuke yelled scaring the fish away.
"Shut the hell up!" Zenitsu scolded him as he tried to help Nezuko to catch a fish but it swam away and as he looked back, his net also broke, "No...."
Nezuko was surprisingly very good at this game and continued catching some.
"Nezuko, you're amazing!" she complimented.
As dusk fell, the atmosphere shifted, and the festival transformed into a magical realm illuminated by paper lanterns and the anticipation of dazzling fireworks. Tanjiro, observing her wide-eyed wonder, knew this was the perfect moment to create a memory etched in their hearts forever.
As the first burst of fireworks painted the night sky, Tanjiro took her hand and led her to a secluded spot, away from the bustling crowd. The bursts of color reflected in her eyes as him, his heart racing, found the courage to express the depth of his feelings.
"Wait, are we leaving the others alone?" y/n asked.
"We can go back to them later!" he replied.
Under the mesmerizing display of lights, he whispered words of love, recounting the countless shared smiles, the laughter, and the sweet moments that had woven their story. As the finale approached, he knelt down, presenting a delicate ring that shimmered like a star against the canvas of the night.
Y/n, tears of joy glistening in her eyes, nodded in awe and acceptance. The applause of the crowd merged with the crackling of the final fireworks in the background.
The vibrant bursts of fireworks painting the night sky, they pressed their foreheads together, feeling the warmth and connection between them. Locked in a gaze, they shared unspoken words before surrendering to the magnetic pull. Finally, in the midst of the dazzling display overhead, they sealed the moment with a tender and passionate kiss, lost in the beauty of the fireworks and their connection.
Their love story was sealed with the magic of that unforgettable festival night in the taisho period. At taisho period,
