RWBY's Persona Users (Male Reader x Ruby) Volumes 1-3

Volume 3 The Vytal Tournament

Weeks have passed, and from then on, I got the extra training with my new swords, their powerfull and very durable. Who ever had made them knew what they were doing. My teammates have gotten stronger too, but again, we had to rely on power boosts from our Personas. Since Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury were still around. Me and Ruby have gotten closer as well. We talked about the dance a few times, then one day, she asked to if I could come along to visit her dad and mom. From what I remember, Ruby talks a lot about her dad, but her mom, she barley metions her.

Than when we arrived to the patch, her mom wasn't around, her dad was. Which he was a calm individual. He approved of me even if I point a gun to my head. I asked Ruby where her mom was, and she had me follow her to a... gravestone. That's when I got the idea that Summer Rose, Ruby's mother, had passed away. So I let Ruby talk to her mom.

Ruby: Hey, mom. Sorry I haven't come by in a while. Things have been... well, things have been, pretty busy. Oh, Dad's here, too! He's, uh, you know... Dad. He's still teaching at Signle. But he told me he's going to be on some mission soon. I think he misses advturing with you. I miss you too. Haven't gotten kicked out of Beacon yet! So that's cool. I think being on a team with Yang helps. Keep her in line... That was a joke. She's actually a really great fighter! You can tell she's learned a lot from Dad! Oh, so are Weiss and Blake. Oh! They're my teammates! Together we form Team RWBY! And yes, before you ask, that does cause a lot of confusion. Oh! I actually got a boyfriend, his name is Y/N. He's just... amazing, he's calm and collected at first, and is a leader of Team S.E.E.S, a team of Persona users, which is it's own case to crack. I know you would've loved him. He's here actually.

I smile and let her keep going.

Ruby: Anyways, I made a bunch of new friends, and then I met some... let's just say, uh, odd teachers. Oh! We've also stopped some bad guys, too! I guess it's like they say: 'like mother, like daughter'! I still wonder why Ozpin let me into the school early. But uh, I guess he'll tell me one day. You know how he is. It's funny, the more I get to know him, the more he's starting to sound like Uncle Qrow. Oh! Looks like Dad's back! I gotta go! He's dropping me off at Beacon for the tournament match before he goes on his next mission. Wish me luck! It was good to talk.

She runs to her dad but notices me looking at the gravestone, she smiles and puts her hand on my shoulder.

Ruby: Go talk to her, we'll wait for you.

I nodded and walked up to Summer's grave.

"Hi Miss Rose, you have a wonderful daughter, she's help me change from my condition along with many others, my team... My Teachers... My friends... And your wonderful daughter. I'm thankful, I'm so thankful for everyone who has helped me, I couldn't have done it without them, I don't think I ever could... So in return... I promised you, I will protect Ruby with my life. And I hope you give me your blessing when the time comes. (Gets up) Say hello to my parents for me. And tell them, that I love them and miss them."

I start walking back but feel a wind with some rose petals, it had a feeling of comfort. And I felt a answer, which made me smile.

I sit with my team as we watch the first match.
