A stinging sensation trickled along Katniss skin as she approached a fog like mist coming towards their camp. As she approached the fog, she stuck her hand out and blisters appeared across her skin, spreading rapidly. She screamed out in pain as the fogs speed intensified, her arm beginning to bubble.

"Run! Run! The fog is poison! Come on, come on, come on." Katniss yelled, having woken all the others with her scream as the group grabbed their necessities and ran.

The group continued to run, but Peeta fell behind and began to get trapped in the fog. "There!" Katniss yelled, pointing to where some of the sandy beach showed far ahead. Elenora fell behind as well in attempt to help Peeta, but she wasn't strong enough.

She continued to support the boy, as the fog began to eat at their flesh and the two fell forward, rolling ahead to where Katniss and Finnick were.

"I can't carry him. We have to go." Elenora screamed out, as she insisted she'd be fine and that the three should go ahead and get Peeta to safety. Do what they were instructed.

Finnick and Katniss helped Peeta up as they struggled, but because of Elenora state, she fell and the fog began to surround her. Her body became covered in blisters and her cries turned into blood curdling screams that Finnick couldn't stand. He ran back into the fog and grabbed the girl by the collar of her suit, the two shouting out in pain before they fell down a hill where Katniss and Peeta laid in a small pond of water, as their blisters disappeared.

The two district 4 members got separated, and before Elenora knew it Peeta had dragged her into the pond, her screams of pain filling the air. "Nora!" Finnick screamed out, pushing through his pain and running into the pond to save her from what he thought was Peeta trying to kill her.

Katniss grabbed a hold of him, forcing him to soak in the water like they had and he watched in shock as their wounds disappeared from their skin, and no scars were left behind.

"We need our weapons." Peeta announced as he stood up, walking around grabbing the fallen knives and tridents. A growling sound is heard behind the sound of Elenora seething as she stands. She freezes and slowly turns to see a monkey, feet away from them.

"Peeta, walk over here slowly." She tells the boy, causing Katniss and Finnick to turn to the girl in confusion. When they see what she looking at, they too back up slowly.

"Get to the beach." Finnick tells them, and they all begin to run away and in the process fight the monkeys. Using their bows, the two girls shoot multiple monkeys getting them out of their way, and clearing another path for the group as the boy fight the mutts off in hand-to-hand combat.

While they fled, a morphing jumped in front of Peeta, quickly succumbing to a painful death as the rest of them made it to the beach, where the monkeys stopped and treaded along the jungle line.

"She sacrificed herself for me and I didn't even know her name." He was cut off by a scream coming from down the shore, where three figures were seen along the tree line.

"That's new." Finnick mumbles as a canon goes off. As they investigate the three people who seem to be covered in blood, Elenora and Finnick can point out their dear friend Johanna.

"Johanna? Johanna!" Elenora shouts as she runs along the beach, Finnick not too far behind her as they meet up with the girl, the district 12 lovers behind them.

"I got 'em out. We were all the way deep into the jungle where I thought it was gonna be safe. That's when the rain started. I thought it was water. It turned out to be blood." She said as she brushed her hair out of her face, Nora wiping some blood away as well to give her a better line of sight.
