Cleo's POV

"MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM"  Scar shouts as he runs in my room. "Mhm" I say, half asleep. "IT'S CHRISTMAS!" "Scar not so loud, what time is it?" "Umm," He looks at the clock," 4 am" "SCAR GO BACK TO BED!" "Sorry-" I take a deep breath. "It's ok, wake me up later ok." "Ok" He says as he runs back too his room. God why did he wake me up so early.

(At 5 a.m.)

"MOM IT'S CHRISTMAS" This time Bdubs runs in my room. "Bdub's no so loud" "Sorry" "What time is it?" I ask my second child. "5" "Give me one more hour to sleep." "ok" I turn over to sleep once more when I hear Scar "See Bdubs, I told you. Wait till 6.30" I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

(In the morning)

I wake up to see my two sons sitting on my bed. I sit up. "How long have you two been here?" "Awhile" Scar responds." Also mom it 6.41" He says looking at a watch he had in his hand. I nod and sit up on my bed.

I smile as I remember what I had arranged for the two. "Mom can we open presents?" Bdubs asks. "Not yet. I want you two to get ready. I have a surprise." Their faces light up with smiles as they run to get ready. I look over at my communicator and pick it up. One new message, I open it.

Etho- Hey what time was it again

Etho- I forgot

Right. Don't be late. The boys are excited- You

I it off and go to get changed. I change into a comfy outfit, nothing fancy. I head downstairs and see Scar and Bdubs in the living room. Their sitting on the floor. Scar has a small cross over bag where he use to have a plushie of a grey cat, but it got ripped a few weeks ago when they were at school, "MOM" "Yes" "When is the surprise?" Bdubs asks. "8" "But that's soooooo far away." "Its only an hour." "But-" "No buts Bdubs. I'm going to be in the kitchen." I walk out the room and leave to two to occupy themselves. I start to fiddle around with some stuff. Preparing for the day ahead. 

Knock. Knock.

I rush to the door to see Etho standing there. "Hi" "MOM who's at the door?" I hear Scar round the corner. A gaps appears and I see brown hair flash forward. "DAD" "Hi Scar." "What? What do yo- DAD" Bdubs also runs forward. "Hi Bdubs" Etho kneels down to their level and hugs them back. "Mom, Dad's back! He's home!" Scar jumps up and down. "Yeah I'm here for Christmas." They both squeal and lead Etho inside.

We sit down. "Do you two like the surprise?" I ask, They both nod fast. "I'm glad" Etho says. "I have gifts." He says. Large grins spread across  their faces. "REALLY" "Yes." Etho then gives them both their gifts.

Scar rips the paper and squeals. "MOM LOOK!" Scar pulls a Grey cat plushie out of a box in amongst the paper. "Aww. That cute hun." I smile at him. Bdubs then opens his gift. In it contains a white clock, The background has an 'evil face' on it. "THANK YOU DAD!" They shout and run back over to Etho. 

Etho then hands a box to me, "It's not much but it's Christmas." I smile at him, "Thank you" I open the wrapping paper and see a picture of Scar, Bdubs, Etho and myself. I remember the day this was taken. It was the last photo we got as a whole family. I look up at him and thank him again.

After dinner we go back to the living room. I look at the photo again and smile. Etho, Scar and Bdubs walk in and Start playing a game.

I smile at the three of them. Even if me and Etho aren't close anymore, it's Christmas. And we will do anything to see our boys smile.
