Joel's POV

I'm so nervous. Today is the day I propose to Lizzie. Our empires have been getting closer recently and I've loved her since I first saw her at spawn. Her long, pink hair, beautiful personality, she always stands up for what she thinks is right. I went to ask Jimmy, her younger brother, a few months ago and he said to just bite the bullet and go ask her. So I did, and we had started dating. But I had been planning to propose to her but I'm not THAT brave. Sure I'm strong and sexy, but I'm worried so I had gone to Jimmy and he Just said the same thing. I had been putting it off for the longest of time, but Jimmy has just been BUGGING me with it so today I'm planning on taking her on a boat ride, before asking to take her hand. 

So, here I am, Just off the coast of meazalia, towering above the water with scaffolding, getting ever higher. Hopefully she can't see it from her palace. I'm fiddling with some concrete powder, getting them lied out on the correct position.

Lizzie's POV

As I look out from the Prisma palace, I watch the undisturbed waters. The sun reflecting brightly off it. As I turn around I hear a little squeak, I look down to see Sir Strawberry, one of my most trusted guards. He looked up to me and spoke" Hello my queen, I have just came back from scouting." I smile at him," Anything to report?" he shakes his head, his gills wobbling a bit. "No nothing, but, you know that king just across the way?" I nod, wondering what on earth Joel could be doing." Well I think he's planning something for you." I giggle softly," Well I'm excited to see what's in store for me." Sir strawberry bows then leaves back up to the axolotl  dome.

I liked Joel for awhile now, actually since the start of the server when we met at spawn, and the thought of him setting up a surprise for me made my heart flutter. I slowly felt blush crawl onto my cheeks and a smile played at my lips. I decided to go for a small swim around my empire and maybe go see my brother, Jimmy.

I swam up to Jimmy's docks and slowly emerge from the murky water. I walk around for a while and spot Jimmy building. Slowly creeping up behind him. He hadn't noticed that I was there so I quickly went and scared him. "BOO!!" "AHHHHHHHH" Jimmy had just squealed like a little girl," LIZZIIIEEEE". "What?" "DON'T. EVER. DO. THAT. AGAIN!!" He yelled at me. I was just laughing non-stop. "Anyways, what do you want?" "Nothing" "Really?" "YES!" "Okay jeeze calm down."

Joel's POV

It was finally done. I carefully made my way down and started to swim over to her (Lizzie's) empire. Pass past one of her guards, I saw multipool cod swimming around freely. I guess she really is helping Jim out, I thought to myself. I smile at the thought of how she always puts her family before herself.

I finally make it to he lily pads, peaking my head out of the water only to find her on the nearest lily pad to me. As I make my way to her she turns her head, probably due to all the noise I was making, and smiled warmly to me. I smiled back as I got out of the water, Lizzie running over and helping me. 

"What brings you here?" She asks. "Oh nothing much, I just wanted to invite you on a boat ride, that's all." I responded, looking down at the floor as I spoke, trying to stop her from seeing my blush. "Sure!" "Ok follow me" I say happily. Walking over to the edge and placing down a boat, I jump inside and hold my hand out to her. She giggles softly at the gesture but takes my hand a sits on the boat. 

We start making our way over to the spot. We chat along the way. When we finally arrived, I hopped out and asked" Can you just stand on this spot here?" Lizzie just nods and gets out the boat and stand on the lantern.

I back away slightly to the tower of scaffolding. and break the bottom one. it started to rain scaffolding. "When I say a proposal..."

Lizzie POV

I watch as it starts to rain scaffolding, was this meant to be romantic? Soon concrete stated to land in the water. I stand there looking at the concrete that now lay in the shape of a ring. I raise my head to look at Joel and when I do he's down on one knee, "I mean, a proposal. So lizzie will you make me the happiest mezalian king and be my wife?"

I feel my face turn bright red. "Yes." I jump over to where he stood and he placed the ring on my finger. He then rises back up onto his feet and pulls me down for a kiss when our lips collide i push down into him.

After Scene

The next day I make my way over to the codfathers house and we start talking about it. 

"Yeah so he actually wants to marry me." I say with happiness.  "What he proposed?" Jimmy asks. "Yes he did." "ABOUT DAMN TIME!" We start  giggling about how Joel had been telling Jimmy his plans and I had been complaining about how I want to marry him.
