I groaned as I was filling paperwork about the last arrest I made.
Which was Dylan Young. The troublemaker.
The guy that I hated.
But also the guy, that I want to put in their place by fucking him.
I immediately scolded myself as I looked up and saw Christian, my partner, walking in.
He looked worried, which was rare for him.
"What's wrong??" I asked when he sat down.
He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair, "I'm just worried about Dylan. That's all," he told me.
I was confused, Why would he be concerned for a man like Dylan?? Always causing people problems for no reason.
"What about him??" I asked him.
He sighed as he rubbed his face like he was stressing out about it, "Something happened last night," he said as he looked away, "and now he won't talk to me. I'm getting worried." He expressed.
I gave him a reassuring look, "I'm sure he is ok. Might not bed up for talking is all." I tried to calm him down. "Besides it's Dylan, he is always ok."
He looked at me with a look that was unreadable, "I know you two hate each other, but go easy on him," he told me, like he expected that I listened to him. "He hasn't had it easy," he said sadly.
That was totally unexpected, I thought. I never saw Christian get so protective over someone besides Diamond.
He continued as I stayed silent, "I know he can be a pain in the ass sometimes," he said and I gave him a look, "or all the time. But the point is he does it because of his past issues."
I was completely confused, "What is that supposed to mean??" I asked him.
He looked at me sadly, "He has a hard life, and he can't handle it well," he said, "so he acts up. But I promise that he means well."
I was still confused why Christian cared so much about someone who causes so much trouble for the fun of it. Problems or not, he does it for fun.
I eventually responded to him, "Have you been to his house??" I asked him.
He thought about it for a second, "No, but I am about to go," he told me and looked straight at me. "Do you want to come with me??" He asked.
I thought about it for a second and responded to him, "Sure."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After moments, we pulled up to his house and I was shocked.
"He's rich??" I asked Christian.
He chuckled, "Yea. His parents left him the house when they moved. He later found a good paying job while his parents parents pay the bills still," he told me.
I noticed a sad tone whenever he said it. Didn't know why.
"Where does he work??" I asked him.
"At some fancy restaurant," he said. "I will take you someday he is working," he stated.
I nodded as we got to his door.
Christian knocked and waited for a few seconds.
No answer.
"I don't like this," he said.
I grabbed the handle and turned it. It opened.
"Hopefully he is asleep so we can have an excuse," he said sounding hopeful.
