Dylan and I reached the restaurant, and I led him inside.

A waiter greeted us and led us to our table. I pulled out my chair for Dylan and he sat down.

He smiled, "Thanks," he spoke.

"No problem," I told him.

After I sat down, he spoke again, "So what made you move to a small town like this??" He asked.

I tensed at the question and answered anyways, "Something happened at my old station and couldn't cope correctly, so I transferred," I told him.

Dylan smiled at me sadly, "Do you mind if I know??" He asks. Once he saw my body tense completely, he panicked a little, "You don't have too. Sorry for asking," he ranted.

I smiled lightly as I reached over and grabbed his hand, "It's ok Dylan," I reassured him.

He nodded hestiantly and I continued, "My old partner got killed in an undercover operation and I couldn't handle his death well," I spoke sadly.

I felt him tightened his grip on my hand, "I'm sorry Alex," he apologized.

I smiled at him as the male waiter came back, "Hello there gentlemen. How are y'all doing today??" The waiter asked us.

The waiter had this terrible haircut, and looked like he was freshly shaven but growing back quickly. He looked like he had good arms but it could also be because of the uniform.

But what stuck out the most was how he was staring at Dylan like a creep. That made my blood boil.

"Fine," Dylan replied shortly.

"Good," he smiled. "Have y'all decided on a drink yet??"

"I'll have a tea please," Dylan told him while dozing off, uninterested in the waiter, but still nice and polite.

"And I'll have a coke," I told him.

"Coming right up gentlemen," he smiled and walked off, but I saw his gaze linger on Dylan.

I clenched my fists under the table, "Mind if I ask you something??" I ask him.

"Go ahead," he responded smiling.

"What did Connor mean when he said, 'He doesn't control you anymore'??" I ask.

I saw him stop his movements and I was afraid I pushed a little too far, but he put on a smile, "Oh just a bad relationship. Tried to control everything I did," he stated. I smiled at him sadly, as I could tell there was more to this past relationship than he let on.

I decided to not ask him about it.

"Anyways, I got out of the relationship soon after," he stated. "What about you?? You have past relationships??" He asks.

"One in high school, she cheated and soon after I realized I liked men more than women," I told him.

He smiled, "Ahh... So we both had bad relationships in the pasts," he stated.

I laughed lightly when the waiter came back with the drinks. He sat them down and smiled at Dylan.

"I say fuck relationships," he said. "They are overrated sometimes. I'd just fuck the man and leave," he stated.

I heard Dylan chuckle but could tell he was uncomfortable. I saw Dylan tense as he patted his shoulder.

I was about to say something, but the waiter started talking, "Y'all ready to order??" He asked us.

We ordered our food and continued on with the date.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Dylan and I was walking around town as we talked about random things and laughing. He stayed close to my side and made sure he was always close.

"This has to be the best date I have ever had," Dylan spoke.

I smiled at him and could tell he was growing tired, "I'm glad, but let's get you home before you fall asleep while walking," I told him.

He smiled and nodded. We walked back to my car and got in.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Once we got to his house, I walked him to his door and he unlocked it. He motioned for me to come in and I followed him inside.

"Thank you for tonight Alex," he said while smiling. A smile that brightened his brown eyes.

"No problem. I'd like to do it again sometime," I spoke gently.

He moved closer to me and I sucked in a sharp breath.

'Is he going to kiss me??' I thought to myself.

He leaned up and kissed me gentlly. I kissed him back and laid my hands on his hips and pulled him closer, and kept a tight grip on his waist. I took control of the kiss, but kept it slow and gentle.

I heard him moan lightly and pulled away leaning his forehead against my forehead.

He smiled at me, "Yeah. Me too," he spoke.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I was sitting at my desk with last night on my mind and the feel of his lips against mine. Those perfect lips.

I saw Christian walk up to his desk with Diamond smiling huge. Christian kissed her on the forehead and sat down.

He looked at me and smirked at me, "So I hear that you and your favorite troublemaker went on a date last night," he said smugly.

"And who told you that??" I asked him.

Diamond smiled, "Did you forget Christian and Dylan tell each other everything??" She asked back.

"He called last night basically cheering about it and freaking out," he spoke as smug as possible.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, "Yes it went good before you ask," I told them.

They both smiled.

I saw Diamond narrow her eyes at me and pointed straight at me. Christian chuckled.

"You hurt my precious baby, I will ruin you Alexander Black. Do you understand me??" She threatened.

My eyes widened slightly, "I wouldn't dream of it," I told her.

Christian sighed, "Listen to me Alex," he spoke and I looked over at him. "Be careful with what you say to him and I mean real careful," he told me sternly. "Don't sound controlling or yell at him."

I looked at him confused, "What??"

Diamond looked at me with a sad look, "His last relationship affected him badly. I don't know the details like Christian," she spoke, "but I know he wasn't in a good relationship."

Christian sighed sadly, "It was awful."

Only one thought came to my mind, 'How bad did he have it?? How badly was he hurt??'

The thought of someone hurting him made my blood boil.
