The atmosphere in the dimly lit, narrow room became more serene after spending ten minutes without finding any reason for the various punishments.

“Has the head investigator been informed about this?”

“Of course.” San gave a faint smile.

An hour ago, San had left his house without further explanation to his parents, heading to the city to meet with the police. He handed over a large envelope containing freshly printed photos. Inside were images of forest trails, dry leaves, and several open trash bags showing piles of pills.

A police officer had been interrogating San for the past few minutes, questioning his involvement in this sensitive matter and trying to determine if he had any part in it. However, there was nothing. San was clean. He was merely someone who had discovered a series of evidence about a drug lord in the forest.

“Thank you for your cooperation.”

San shook hands with the police officer in front of him.
