A birthday kiss

The candles go out and everyone claps.

"Happy birthday Tricia!" Everyone shouts, Tricia giggles and twirls her hair.

Mom grabs the cake and carries it into the kitchen to safely cut it.

Tricia walks over to Cyde who is beside me, Tolkien and Jimmy.

"Hey Tricia, happy birthday!" Clyde exclaims with a big grin, Tricia gets on her tippy toes and gives Clyde a big kiss on the cheek.

A big, long kiss.

That lasted far too long, 10 seconds.

Once the kiss was over she went bright red and ran away.

Clyde turns to us with fear in his face.

"Am I a pedophile now?" Clyde's voice cracks mid-sentence as his eyes fill with tears.

Jimmy begins to cackle whilst Tolkien holds in a laugh.

"Yeah, I'm calling the police now," I say with a big grin.

Clyde squeaks as a single tear leaves his eye.

I feel someone poke my shoulder and I turn around, I meet Tweek's eyes and smile.

"Craig we're going to go eat all the pizza before anyone else can, we'll catch up with you in a bit," Tolkien says before walking off with Jimmy and Clyde.

I nod, not looking at them though.

"How are you, Mr. Tucker?" Tweek asks, his dimples deepening as his grin grows.

"I am fantastic Mr. Tucker," I reply, grabbing his hand and rubbing his thumb.

"Oh? We're married now are we?" Tweek questions, raising one eyebrow.

I nod.

"And who says I'm taking your last name?" Tweek squeezes my hand and pulls me over to the chips.

"Craig Tweak? Really? You think that sounds better than Tweek Tucker?" I say as I grab a Funyun.

Tweek grabs a tater tot.

We both continue to eat, whilst holding hands.

"Present."

I jump at the voice behind me and turn around to see Tricia with an innocent smile.

I let go of Tweek's hand and grab the box in blue wrapping paper and a green bow on the stool and hand it to Tricia.

She pulls a big grin and begins to tear it open like a starving wolf trying to get to its food.

She pulls out the Kermit jumper and her eyes light up, she throws it over her arm and pulls both me and Tweek into a hug, considering we are taller she was more just squeezing my hips and Tweek's waist, we both look at each other and pull big grins as we continue to be squished together.

She finally lets go and runs to her friends to show them the jumper.

"Should have got her Mrs. Piggy, they would've been twins," I mumble.

Tweek hits me lightly and gives me a disappointed look causing me to chuckle.

I grab his hand and pull him upstairs, once we are at the top I pull him into my room.

"Stripe's missed you, honey." I point at Stripe as Tweek runs over.

"My child," Tweek says putting his fingers through the bars of the cage.

I sit beside him as he strokes Stripe.

"How did you even get the money for him?" I question.

"Saved up some money from my shifts, demanded I get paid when I was 12 so now I get the same pay as Mcdonalds workers." He shrugs.

"Clyde will be getting that pay soon." I say, Tweek laughs.

"No I'm serious, he applied to work there." I pull a big smile at the thought of Clyde handing out burgers and getting shouted at for forgetting no pickles.

Tweek pulls a shocked look.

"When you turn 16 are you going to get a job?" Tweek asks.

"Well, my biological dad's family owns a restaurant, so I could work down there in like summertime." I shrug, looking at Stripe as she eats.

"You'll have to actually be good at speaking Spanish to do that." Tweek smiles.

I lightly slap him.

"You should come to Mexico at some point babe," I mumble.

"Would your dad want me there?" Tweek questions.

"Yeah, I think he'd really like you," I say.

Tweek smiles and looks at the ceiling.

"Everybody! The cake is ready!" My mom shouts.

We get up and go downstairs to see my mom giving out pieces of cake.

We both walk up to her and get a slice each.

The cake is chocolate with purple icing and horse sprinkles.

I look in front of me and watch as Clyde shoves the entire slice of cake in his mouth whilst Tolkien and Jimmy cheer him on.

I forgot to mention he got a bigger piece than everyone except Tricia.

So he choked.

He choked a lot.

No one helped him we just stood and watched until he stopped.

Well, my mom tried to help him but he didn't let her.

I turned around to Tweek and there was icing on his cheek, I lifted my finger to his face and wiped it off, he went red and smiled at me.

.

.

The party is finally ending and everyone is leaving, a car speeds up the road and stops outside my house.

The window rolls down and out pops my dad's head.

"CRAIG! LA ABUELA QUIERE VER A SU NIETO FAVORITO!" He shouts, my neighbor opens her window and gives him a death glare.

I pick up my bag and begin to walk out the front door when someone grabs my shoulder.

I turn around and Tweek's mouth is on mine.

We stand there for a few seconds, kissing before I pull away.

"Okay," I say, Tweek laughs.

"Have fun at your dad's Craig," Tweek says.

I turn back to my dad's car and he's just sat wiggling his eyebrows.

I roll my eyes and make my way out to his car.

I look up at the second story of my house and my parents and sister are, waving me goodbye.

I wave back and smile, I then turn back to my dad's car and jump in the back.

"So, ready to go to an extremely noisy house and have to wake up at 6 am to help prep food?" Dad asks.

"Super ready," I say.
