There was a knock at the door.
"Orthon kingdom police! Open up!"
The only reaction was Sydney and Evelyn snatching Nimona, Ambrosius, and ballaster. Bringing them behind the barn. "Book it!"
Sydney and Evelyn looked like they were running from the police after seeling illegal drugs. But everyone knew what they were here for. Orthon was the name of the 2nd kingdom. They seemed the most powerful, with a president instead of a king or queen. It took a long time and a lot of steps throughout the forest, leaving the adults behind, to get some answers.
"They've been trying to find and attack us for years. They finally found our hangout. Luckily nothing there is worth anything now that they know you exist."
1 hour later*
The adults finally caught up to the 3 monsters. They seemed to be around another old barn. But it looked like it's been throughout a warzone. Literally. Nimona and Sydney were on the roof while Evelyn was at some kind of stone surrounded by flowers. Or was it just a stone at all?
"Kiakia? That's her name? Weird."
"Yeah, but we're monsters. Were weird."
Sydney was unfazed by the name.
" How does it not bother you?"
"Eh?"
"The word monster, why doesn't it effect you?"
This moment was a life changer for Nimona
"Hey, humans are the ones using the term wrong, not us! It's just our last name."
