Nimona finally caught up to her siblings, leaving behind the adults.
She saw her siblings, both standing in a fight stance.
"You, you helped him kill her! You think humans are so innocent! You're the ones who started this!"
Evelyn's voiced lowered, but she was still yelling so the king could hear her
"And we're the ones who's gonna end it."
When she finished saying that, the kingdom started to take fire, but the siblings were gone. Sydney had silently possessed one of the guards closer to the king. And Evelyn ran past them in her energetic form.
Once she was behind them, her eyes, did the same thing as Nimona did before fighting all those guards (when ballaster was gonna prove he was innocent with the video the squire gave him).
She shifted into a shadow and a sudden huge wave of dark black rose up behind the army, none but Sydney moved out of the way.
When they were hit with they wave, they felt weak. Like they were trapped to the ground.
Sydney took the guards sword and was about to slice the kings head off when he stopped.
Evelyn! This isn't right! He's not the one who killed our mother or helped him! None of them are! The ones who did are already dead!
Evelyn stood there holding her arm and looking down. "You're right. They're not.
Evelyn dropped to the ground and started crying. Sydney punched the guard in the temple and shifted out towards Evelyn. Comforting her. From what Nimona could tell, something happened that was possibly traumatizing.
She ran over to also help Evelyn. Evelyn didn't even look at her. Just jumped up and hugged her. Sydney joined in.
The next thing she remembered was the biggest knight army she's ever seen running towards them.
