Me: *drown in my thoughts*

Kanha: *appears beside her out of nowhere* What happened priye?

Me: I am thinking something kanha

Kanha: 👀 What storm is going inside your puny brain?

Me: (Itna kaun chiddhata hai 😑) I was thinking about regret

Kanha: Regret?

Me: Yaa from past few days I am seeing shorts or hear from people that pain of regret is alot more than pain of discipline but I don't know what is pain of regret, I never experienced it, without knowing how do you think I would bear pain of discipline and study consistently?

Kanha: 🤔 you and studying

Me: Kanhaaa 😑

Kanha: *chuckles* jokes apart but you have experienced pain of regret but you don't remember it

Me: I have?

Kanha: Remember two-three years back, you were really good infact too good in badminton and the adults whom you used to practice with advised you to tell your parents, put you in proper coaching or you to take part in state level competition but you never said it

Me: But it was covid time

Kanha: 2019 was also Covid time?

Me: *mumbles and looks down* No

Kanha: *smiles and keep hand on shoulder* You kept on making plans, found excuses or days to tell but you never did and today you're parents tell you about other kids extra activities along with studies when they don't even know how good their daughter was in badminton

Me: *sighs* Ya atleast I wouldn't get taunts daily

Kanha: *shakes head* You have seen your father ********************************* (little personal) that time you were guilty because your father was in that position as you did not listen to him, weren't you?

Me: *remembering that incident and subconsciously* Yes......

Kanha: You took decisions that time, you decided you will do anything but you will not let the same mistake repeat again, you became disciplined because of it and later in 6th standard during your admission you did not let that happen again

Me: *looks at him* Ya

Kanha: You worked hard, yes it was difficult but you did it, didn't you?

Me: I- I did-

Kanha: Your life till now itself is an example for discipline and regret, in place of finding others look into your life, observe yourself, you will learn a lot out of yourself and always grow and never make those mistakes again. You said you don't know pain of discipline and regret but you actually had even if they are for small things they impacted you. Today if you make that mistake again, that regret might leave a deep scar in you which would waste golden years of your life in healing. You are an example for yourself so now don't think much and do your work

Me: *nods and smiles* You are right Kanha I will not make those mistakes again

Kanha: *smiles*
