So I decided to call my partner in crime...Rosie Montaire.
Yep, my best friend, definitely non identical twin, my PARTNER IN CRIME. Okay, I should really stop it.... but the crimes we have committed are so out of this world...okay they're not crimes but more like...practical jokes.
Also, they're not evil or horrible either but deserving and definitely amusing.
We've done too many over the past few years to name all of it but we have a few famous ones like the usual ones whenever or "if" we get chatted up by some...immature men. Well...it's not like we can date anyway! Muslim rules...NO DATING! However, she can date but even Rosie is thinking of becoming a Muslim. Yes, even though she has a boyfriend and all sorts she still wants to become Muslim.
I've introduced her to the main features and rules of our religion and lately Rosie has apparently been listening to some Islamic lectures, so that's all well.
Back to the subject... The famous "back off rule" for guys
1- He asks you for your number or ... something else?
You just pretend you're on your phone and tell him that you'll be right back. And... you run!
(However, if he's that type of guy you know isn't good or isn't kind, etc. don't run! Just go somewhere else and if he follows you or see's you and approaches you asking or talking to you again, just tell him, 'I'm sorry didn't you get the message? Me "pretending" to be on the phone was actually just a tactic to get away from... you.' *Tuts*
So there's many more but that's our main one. So... that isn't really a joke but more of a safe tactic for you Muslim, halal! Girls out there!
But we do a series of practical jokes like when the College Bully Darvin Limheath (Such a weird and funny name I know!) crossed the line by bullying some GIRLS (!) and calling them ugly and fat, we sneaked into his house and stole his precious car keys to his Ferrari.
Okay you may think that's a bit extreme but he's done MUCH more awful things in the past that he should be ashamed of.
So he's going ballistic after "losing" his keys but (un-) fortunately he's got a spare pair so we locked his garage door with our own lock, but this isn't some simple lock. Oh no. Its one of those really hard to pick, complicated, EXPENSIVE locks which meant that he couldn't get his car for a 2 months.
It was worth it. Lets just say he wasn't so awful to people after that simple trick. We had to play a little more tricks to him whenever he got out of hand after that!
Yeah.... I guess that's probably amateur but it was such a humorous time!!
I called her and she answered immediately.
"Helloooo," Rosie answered.
"Hey" I said. "How are you?"
"I'm good thank you babe.... it's been ages since I last saw you!!"
"*...It' s only been the weekend. I'll see you tomorrow at college" I replied rolling my eyes slightly.
"But I miss youuuuu," she sang.
What a dork. "Really? Um...who are you again?" I said laughing slightly. I could imagine her glaring at me jokingly by now, at the phone.
"All right byeee," She threatened me.
"Okay Okay!" I said before she actually hung up on me.... trust me she would.
"So how was yesterday.... with...ya know?" Rosie asked me giggling.
"Oh no you don't! Shhhh, I need your help please!" I told my partner in crime. As I explained to her about my sneaky plan to find out where my family have been ditching me for, she laughed loudly. Confusion clouding my mind I had to say my bit.
"Why you in such a hurry to find out what the 'secret' is...It's never going to be good, sorry Aliyah."
"God stop being so negative and dramatic and get your lazy arse over here now." I told her before ending the phone.
I may sound a bit inconsiderate however this was the relationship me and Rosie have had since...well, ever since we've met.
Rosie arrived nearly 10 minutes later. It fit I guessed because she only live a couple minutes away from me.
After I explained everything to her she looked at me as if I had grown another head.
I waited for her to say something.
"Are you sure that they're hiding something from you? Seems like they're just giving you done responsibility or something? I mean you are going to be 18 next week!"
I grimaced, I totally forgot about that!
I just rolled my eyes and told her to follow me.
We quietly sneaked upstairs to my parents room. Okay don't ask why we sneaked when there was Nobody in the house, but it felt right at that moment.
It took a bit longer since Rosie fell over my foot and I nearly went tumbling down the stairs.....totally wasn't my fault okay!?
We were right outside her room now.
Looking at Rosie and her glancing back at me, she nodded.
This was out moment....I reached out and grabbed the door handle when suddenly the front door opened..loudly.
"AAAAAHHHH!!" We both screamed scared, clutching each other.
Then hearing the voices of my family we shut up and let go off each other.
I blushed red and looked at Rosie. She was also a bit pink.
Well that was awkward....
"So ueah.. I so wasn't scared uhhuum.." Rosie started off.
Agreeing quietly with her quietly i followed her downstairs.
My whole family (close obviously) were in the living room whilst my mum was making tea.
WHAT?
I mean I still had manners, I said salaam and Rosie said hi to everyone and everyone smiled and said salaam and hey back.
"I'm gonna kinda leave mow, I can see a lot of shouting in the near future." Rosie whispered in to my ear before banding the front door shut.
I glared at the now closed front door. Traitor!
Immediately I went as said to my parents who were sitting on the sofa. "where exactly did you go?"
My mum who was now sipping tea, said uneasily,"Shopping..did you not read the note?"
I narrowed my eyes at her. "So where's the shopping?"
There was a silence.
Then a "Round your sisters house!" Mum said excitedly, acting as if the room hasn't been silent before.
Sure mum sure.
I huffed and went to my room a s stayed there for the rest of the day, praying doing my homework and getting ready for college tomorrow.
I was angry at my family for lying to me but we all knew I would forgive them soon enough......
