It is widely agreed that the existence and actions of Deku, also known as the Prophet of the Forgotten, have changed the course of not only Japan but the whole world. What still is a repeated discussion is what differentiated him from other important individuals of the time. Some proposed the idea that he was a genius even greater than Aristotle or Plato. Others say that his ruthlessness and endless motivation gave him the ability to do what he did. The old guard even tries to prove that he possessed an undiscovered Quirk, which is a blatant attempt to discredit a symbol of the Quirkless. But despite all these ideas, I would like to set forward another theory. It was proven that the Quirks are a symptom of the virus that infected the entire population, except of course the Quirkless. Or that's what was assumed but what if the virus did infect the Quirkless and the Quirks just never manifested. What if this gave the Quirkless the potential of a quirk without the actual Quirk. What if this potential could be filled like a hole with the intellect and determination of a small boy to achieve superhuman abilities and motivate his followers to achieve the same heights.
