Chapter 4

Erin and Jay, were walking into the bullpen, holding hands, when Adam called them out.

"Lovebirds!" Adam called out.

The unit all looked, and saw Erin and Jay, holding hands.

"Alright, Alright! Put your tongue back in your mouth's." Erin ordered.

The unit all laughed, and logged on.

After an hour. Erin and Jay, were driving, through the streets.

"Units in the 21st, and units in the citywide, neighbours, report shots fired, at 1900 West Roosevelt, multiple casualties." Dispatch responded.

Erin picked up her radio, and looked at Jay.

"Ready for your first case?" Erin asked.

"Ready!" Jay smiled.

Erin nodded, and radioed.

"5021 Lincoln, hold me, and my partner down, at that shots fired, we're two blocks out, we'll advise, once we're on scene." Erin radioed.

Jay put his foot down, and drove off.

Soon. Erin and Jay, arrived at the location.

"Jay, door's open." Erin whispered.

Jay stood to the side, and aimed his gun.

"3.2.1." Jay mouthed.

Erin opened the door, walked inside.

"Help." Sarah called.

Erin heard someone groaning, and looked at Jay.

"You hear that?" Erin asked.

Jay nodded, and walked into the lounge.

Sarah was lying on the floor, with a gunshot wound.

"Call it in!" Erin ordered.

Jay pulled his radio out, and spoke.

"5021 George, Roll me an ambo, to 1900 West Roosevelt, I got a person down, with a gunshot wound to the chest." Jay radioed.

Dispatch replied, and Jay joined Erin, on the floor.

"Stay with me, Sarah, your gonna be okay, stay with me." Erin spoke softly.

Erin held Sarah's caked-blood hand, and squeezed it.

"Your gonna be okay, I got you." Erin soothed.

Soon the ambo came, and transported, Sarah to Med.

"How's the Vic?" Hank asked.

Erin and Jay sighed, and spoke to Hank.

"We called for an ambo, she had a sucking chest wound, she might make it." Erin explained.

Hank nodded, and spoke.

"Any sign of forced entry?" Antonio asked.

"The door was half open, when we arrived, other than that." Jay replied.

Hank nodded, and responded.

"Let's go back to the district, and find out, what the hell happened, to this girl." Hank responded.

The unit nodded, and walked to their cars, and drove to the district.

After 15 Minutes. The unit were all at the district, discussing the case.

"So, I looked through all Sarah's records, she hasn't got any known doctor's, she's not registered, at any hospitals." Erin explained.

Hank nodded, and Antonio took over.
