Jing Yuan sat on a chair, motionless and careful not to disrupt the drawing as you had told him. To make matters even more interesting, his top half was bare as you wanted a natural sketch of Jing Yuan, Not the General of the Luofu. If that's what you wanted you would have taken one of the many portraits in his estate, also what you had told him.

You on the other hand handled the situation quite well. Composed and focused, the only noise ever coming from your side was small grunts or the sounds of a pencil scratching paper. He watched as your hand moved across the paper in quick, precise strokes. You made it look so easy.

Now the question stands, how did he get into this situation?

The day was like any other, Jing Yuan was dozing on his desk, a soft grunt escaping his lips occasionally. Nothing out of the ordinary! Well, that is if one wouldn't count you sketching his sleeping state on a piece of paper.

Jing Yuan and you made plans the day before to meet up today, and you kept your end of the word and arrived just on time. Since no one answered the door, you found yourself inside and looked for the man, only to find him softly snoring on his desk. No wonder he's called the dozing General.

Back to the story, with each stroke of your pencil, it was obvious that the muse was him. As you picked up your eraser Jing Yuan had finally woken up, his expression proof of his complete unawareness of the situation.

"Am I dreaming?" He said in a whisper and rubbed his eyes. To which he concluded he was not, as you were there present at the moment.

"Lovely day Jing Yuan" You smiled and placed the items down. He could only look bashfully with his head down. "Forgive me... I must have nodded off while waiting for you" he straightened himself, his response only making you giggle.

"So the General can have his moments too... I find that quite adorable." You got up and placed the sketch of his sleeping state in front of him.

"You sure do live up to your name dozing General. And this surely serves as a better reference than pictures March has" He felt embarrassed, but not for long as he switched back to his aloof nature.

He tried his shot, a half smile on his face as he leaned against his desk, his hand holding his head up. "Then would you like me to pose for a proper sketch?"

He doesn't know whether he regrets saying those words or is amused at the fact you took his offer up without any hesitation. But he can't deny that he didn't find the way you looked all so serious as you sketched him fascinating.

"I'm done!" You chimed as you got up from your place. His body immediately relaxed as he grabbed a robe to cover himself up. "That was sooner than expected," he watched as you sat down, next to him signalling him to close his eyes. He chuckled but complied, closing his eyes with his hands.
