Idk how many of yall would read this, but still I kinda wanted to interact with people on this app...
For those who stuck around to the end, read every chapter despite the huge wait time I had subjected to yall... idk how yall did it but you did it and I'm so very very grateful!
I didn't even think I'd get this many reads before I even finished the book 💀 but this truly is a pleasant surprise.
I genuinely wrote this out of boredom (haha no love life), and posted it for the heck of it, (I'm pretty sure I suck at story writing) none of this I took seriously! You can see it in my crappy update schedule lol. Idk how solid of a first book it is but... yeah! Oh and plus it's short! So that would also explain a lot!

I remember when writing the skeleton for the story's ending, the direction this was heading was wayyyy differently from what it is now. I'm glad I changed it though cause Jing Yuan doesn't deserve such a shit ending!
I love Jing Yuan, he's literally one of the many reasons why I started playing HSR other than the fact it's another HoYo game. So I made him a love struck fool, I hope I did justice to that role, even though he's DEFINITELY not canon anymore!
Also I noticed... how they've not even once argued in this story!? Idk if that's a good sign or a bad sign but let's just say they're in the honeymoon phase.... And Jing Yuan is old maybe he hates conflicts that aren't on the battle field? Maybe he can't argue with y/n...
I loved reading the occasional comments I'd get, and also the votes! Thank you for all the votes! I never thought that getting votes for something you've written would feel so... "omg what- there's no way you liked this"*proceeds to smile like an idiot*
I truly did enjoy writing step one (is lying /hj) and I hope that you enjoyed the reading part as well (yes I'm saying this a second time).
Should I write another book and make myself suffer? Or do not write another book? Ok if I do write it's probably gonna be for another fictional man I'm in obsessing over. Lmk yeah!
