A sunny day, the perfect weather, a night filled with beautiful sleep with the woman he loved who is now in his Garden helping him water his plants. "I can't believe this is the work of your hands Jing Yuan!"
You were crouched next to a beautiful flower, seeing how meticulously it's been taken care of. "Are you saying I can't maintain a garden?" He fixed his gaze from the plant he was watering to you.
"Not exactly, I'm just surprised how professionally well kept they are, I can barely keep a succulent alive..." you got up, continuing to observe the Garden. "Perhaps the next time you come over I'll teach you how to?" Jing Yuan placed the watering can on a bench. "Sounds good to me"
Walking on the small stoned path, your arms wrap around him from behind, snuggling closer. "I'm gonna miss you so much" you sighed into his back. He knew he was going to miss you, terribly at that. Only hope for the future stays with him. "You'll visit right?" He asked to make sure once more. "Of course, I'll Visit, I have a feeling I'll be on the Luofu more than traversing the stars..." he held onto your arms.
'Wouldn't that be nice' he thought to himself, perhaps it's time to buy a second toothbrush and all the necessary things you'd require each time you visit, meaning you needn't stay at a hotel on the Luofu you could be with him until you have to leave once more.
"y/n my dear, will you let go of me for a moment" he asked, looking at the birds on his porch waiting to be fed. "The birds can wait" You have a knowing answer, he sighed with a smile, "How about you feed the birds today?" Your face peaked from behind. "Will they accept me?" You looked at him, contemplating the situation.
It's no secret that Jing Yuan and animals of any kind have a peculiar affinity, may it be the birds of the air or a simple stray kitten, they all loved him alike. He reassured you with a pat on your hand.
You emerged from behind to his front, sticking out your hand. Jing Yuan grabbed a few bird seeds from a pocket on his side placing them in your palm. "Just be still alright" he moved a few steps behind.
Surprisingly enough a sparrow landed on your hand, chirping a little tune before picking a few seeds to eat. Jing Yuan watched as you smiled widely looking at him to make sure he saw the scene. He gives you a nod, assuring you that he is watching.
After feeding the birds you walked back to him, "Is this what it feels like to be a princess?" You asked yourself leading him to raise an eyebrow, "A princess? Does that make me a princess too?" He teased jokingly. You chuckled, "Caleus once put on a movie, I can't recall its name, but the princess in the movie always had animals surrounding her, kinda like you Jing Yuan! Maybe you are secretly a princess" you teased him back, watching a bird come out of his hair to perch on his shoulder; strengthening the allegations. "Perhaps I am..."
The morning passed and soon came noon. Tea at the Infamous Sleepless Earl and a storyteller with tales of bravery and adventure. Jing Yuan watched as you poked your cheeks while your other hand held a pocket mirror.
