Just another boring day , I got up and got ready for school , ofcourse father wasn't around no surprise there.

Ever since mom passed he didn't really like being at home , he always kept himself busy.

It was Monday, ive been trying to get hold of my boyfriend Kenny since this weekend, Marcy the popular girl from school threw a huge party this past weekend and he went there.

As if that wasn't enough, I wasn't able to get Lilly my best friend as well.

I got ready and walked to school, as I entered the gate everyone was just starring at me.

Josh came over to me " uhmm Kells I think we should talk " , " I am late for class , what is it? Did something happen this weekend? Why is everyone starring at me? Have you seen Kenny? " , he looked around.

" We need to talk , he's in the basketball hall " , without giving him any chance to further more speak, I bolted to the hall.

As soon as I opened the door I was met with a nightmare , there stood my boyfriend and Bestfriend kissing each other passionately.

A gasp left my mouth and I put both my hands to cover it , they broke the kiss and walked to me " Kelly " Kenny ran after me.

I bolted to the change rooms and locked myself in , he banged the doors.

" Kelly please it's not what it looks like , sweetheart please let me in " he kept on banging the door.

My heart was broken but no tears came out , the bell rang and I opened up the door , there stood Josh , Kenny and behind them was Lilly.

" Kelly please let me explain, it's n... " , " I am late " I said walking past him.

" This is why you don't deserve him , you're all Ms Perfect Kelly , and don't care about him and his needs , you've been dating for 3 years and you still don't want to sleep with him , that's why I gave him what he was missing " Lilly angrily voiced.

I just turned and looked at her " 9 years of friendship down the drain all for him? " , " I was never your friend you always annoyed me of how perfect you are , my parents forced me to befriend you because you're great at everything, I love Kenny and he loves me "

" Lilly! " Kenny shouted , I looked between the two " congratulations " I said then walked out.

Josh followed me and we went straight to class , I wanted to break down so much but nothing was coming out.

At lunch Lilly sat with Marcy and I stayed in class after school , I walked home.

This time father was home , I ran to the kitchen and hugged him , letting my tears fall.

" Sweetheart what's wrong? " He asked worriedly switching off the stove , we stood there till I had no more tears in me to cry.

" Lilly slept with Kenny and told me she hated me that she never wanted to be friends with me in the first place, that I am a bore dad ,that I am too perfect ".

He kissed my forehead " never never stop being yourself to please others , you were sincere and loved both of them wholeheartedly, if being good and being yourself is a bore to them then that's fine , everyone is entitled to they own opinion.

You my sweet girl don't need to change for anyone, the right people will love and accept you just as you are " he hugged and rubbed my back.

The next few days I locked myself in my room , I didn't want to go to school nor see I just shook my head " Kelly " , " Dad this is a great opportunity for both of us , I don't want to be here anymore it scares me to walk out the door without thinking people are saying stuff about me , a fresh start is good " he got up and sat next to me.

" You'll be going to a new school , will you be okay? " , " yes father just no more music for me " , " but you love music " , " not anymore " he kissed my forehead and got up.

" Don't worry people will come in tomorrow to move your things no need to pack " I just nodded.

Once done with the cake I put the plate away and slept.

The next morning it was around 9 am as soon as I opened my eyes , my whole room was empty only the bed I was sleeping on was there.

" Dad ! Dad ! We've been r..." As I was to reach for the door it swung open.

" Oh hey Ms Kelicia , so glad to see you up " , " uhmm who are you? And why are you in my room? " He chuckled walking to my bed giving me my pillow as he lifted the bed up in one go.

" I am Jeremy my father asked me to help you and your dad move " he walked out and I followed him.

As we walked down the stairs the house was empty " you moved everything on your own? ", " uhmm no there's two of us , your dad should be back soon here " he handed me a hoodie.

It was really cold outside and I was just wearing sweat pants and a tank top " thanks " I got dressed.

" Our work here is done see you at school " , " school? " , " are you still asleep? " , " kinda sorta " he chuckled getting close to me , he pulled my hair out of the hoodie and pulled the hood over it.

" Don't look yourself away when you get there , it's a different town , forgive yourself and give yourself time to heal " , " what? " , " nothing" he turned getting into his truck.

Father was here , he just waved and drove off , father walked to me " hey sleepy head " , " dad why didn't you wake me up? " , " Jeremy said you needed the sleep plus he was the one packing out your room "

He hugged me " don't worry we'll be okay " we stayed like that for a while.

Father locked all doors as all windows had already been closed by Jeremy, we walked to the car and we were off.
