The unwanted

realization.

Ash walked to his room taking out his books to study,  Kelicia was doing the same.

The was silence between them but it was awkward , " long ago your mom lived here , my grandfather was her parents friend after they died he took her in.

When she met your father she was in University and I was only 6 when she found out she was pregnant with you.

She called because she couldn't reach your father , grandpa was spending his day with me that day ,she was in labour.

We drove for ours to go help her out , when we reached the hospital, grandpa met some guys who wanted to kill your mother and you because of your father.

Grandpa did all he could so he could be sure you and your mom was safe , I lost my grandfather that day and you were born.

Ever since then your mom she never wanted to come back home and for the longest time I hated you all because I lost the one person who protected and loved me " he got back to his books.

Kelicia took all the information in , looking at Ash " where were you when he was killed? " , " right next to him " Kelicia could feel her heart break.

She packed her books away and got into bed but Ash stopped her " do you want to do boxing? " , " what? " , " when you start feeling uneasy you need to do something that will distract you , sleeping will only make you worse , let me teach you boxing " she got up.

They spent the whole afternoon in the gym till she was exhausted " better? " She nodded " don't you play any sports? That too could keep you better at school " ,  " I don't want to play "

He nodded as they walked out " I shared one thing with you , it's your turn " , " mhhh what do you want to know? " , " tell me about your friends in the city ".

" I don't want to talk about that " , " mhhh then can I ask you something? " She nodded " if you saw the boy who hurt you , how would you react ? ".

" I don't know maybe I'll probably have a panic attack " , " did you love him? " , " I don't know if it was love but it was something " she answered Ash smiled.

They kept talking as they walked out of the house and took a walk outside,  Ash bought her ice-cream and they walked back home took a shower ate then slept.

Kelicia was getting better,  the imprint didn't hurt her anymore , there were so many changes with her.

Ash and her were okay , but would argue like kids every once in a while.

It was the day of the basketball tournament , Ash had gone for a morning jog , Kelicia walked down for breakfast.

Josh was here too " morning " she said sitting down " morning you'll go watch the match today right? " , " what match? " , " basketball we're playing today " , " I'll see " , " Kels please " , she rolled her eyes " fine you better win " they all chuckled.

Ash walked in taking some of Kelly's food " don't get close to me you're a..." she didn't get to finish her sentence Ash hugged her rubbing himself on her.

" Ashwin !" She shouted he let go of her and ran up stairs " ugh I am going to kill him one day " the guys laughed.

She got up and ran up the stairs taking a shower and changing her clothes , Ash walked into the room as she was getting dressed , he took of the towel entering his closet.

" can't you cover up when I am here " , " no why were you looking at me anyway , see something you like? " , " yuke " she picked up her bag.

" will you watch the game? " , " mhhh are you playing? " , " yes , if I win give me something " , " and if you don't? " , " I'll give you something instead " , " deal ".

" you didn't even ask what I wanted " , " knowing you it's probably something stupid " , " if I win you'll kiss me and let me sleep in bed with you from today onwards " , " what does kissing have to do with it ? Marta will kill me " .

" so you're saying you'd kiss me but you're scared of Marta " , " Ashwin that's cheating " he walked close to her and without warning he connected his lips to hers.

She responded,  he deepened the kiss but she pulled out and he smiled " there now she won't kill you cause she won't know " he wore his shirt and walked out.

Kelly ran a hand over her lips then smiled , suddenly image's of Ash flashed infront of her , his scent got stronger.

She quickly took her bag following him out , as he drove to school she couldn't get her eyes of him , Ash noticed but didn't say anything.

She watched as his veiny arms flexed out , until today she's never really looked at Ash , he was handsome , tall , great body and structure,  he had dark brown curly hair , his sunset hazel eyes sparkled , his pink lips , and thick eyebrows with long eyelashes.

" you're looking at me like something you want to eat " Ash voiced as they got to the parking lot.

She swallowed hard , her cheeks red " I...uhmm..." she didn't finish her sentence as he pecked her lips then got out of the car.

Her heart started beating fast,  he opened the door for her " I think something is wrong with me " she blurted out and he chuckled.

" it's called love you're not sick " , " what? " , " you my dear " he pointed at her nose " are falling in love with me " they locked eyes.

He pushed her hair away from her face , Marta came to them , Ash quickly removed Kelly's seat belt , Kelly ran inside.

" how could you? " , " what now Marta? " , " Ash everyone is talking about me , I'm a laughing stock,  do you not care about me ? " tears started rolling down her face and she ran inside.

She ran into the bathroom and Kelly was there washing her face , " how could you? Even after experiencing the same heartache " , " Marta " , " don't you're no better than that friend of yours that betrayed you , he's my fiance yet you,  you..." she started crying and locked herself in one of the stalls.

Kelly ran out of the bathroom.
