It was now after school , Ash was already waiting for Kelicia outside.

She looked drained as she was the last to walk out, as soon as she saw Ash her body relaxed.

He took her backpack, Marta stood infront of them " I need to talk to you " , " not now I have practice" , " then when? Because if it's not practice you're spending time with her , I can't even go to your house cause she's there? Is she now your girlfriend? Do you not want me anymore" Kelicia felt her heart beating fast.

Her palms started sweating, Ash turned looking at her putting his hands on her shoulder " look at me " she did as told " try breathing slowly for m..." Marta hit his hand away.

" Ash I am talking to you ! " She shouted " Shut it Marta ! " He shouted back , Kelicia held onto her heart falling to the ground struggling to breath.

Ash picked her up walking back into the classroom and locking the door.

He placed her on the table , standing between her legs then hugged her as he brushed her back " just focus on my scent breath slowly , I am here , I am not going anywhere I am here I promise " he said rubbing her back.

Her breathing leveled but she still clung onto him " are you hungry? Do you want a burger? " She nodded against his chest.

He picked her up they bags on the other side and walked to his car with her still in his arms , he placed the bags at the back then got in the drivers seat with her.

He drove to McDonald's drive through and bought her food then parked at the parking lot.

" You can't really eat stuck on me " , Kelicia jumped up and sat on the passenger side , they started eating.

When done they sat silently " what's making you so anxious? Do you want to tell me? " , she shook her head.

" I won't force you but I can't help you if you don't tell me " , she started fiddling with her hands and he intertwined her hands in his.

" It's okay you can tell me when you're ready " he drove off to the mountains " didn't you say you had practice? " , " mhhh but this is important " he parked the car and got out.

She followed behind him " where are we going? " , " you'll see " they walked for what seemed forever then head a waterfall.

He led her through the corners and they were infront of the waterfall " wow " Kelicia said then walked close trying to touch the water.

Ash looked at her for the first time , her eyes sparkly she looked happy , she was beautiful he smiled and unknowingly imprinted on her.

She took off her shoes pulling Ash to do the same as she dipped her feet in the water.

" What perfume do you use? " She suddenly asked " I don't use any perfume " ," but you smell different, you smell calm , like the forest your scent mixed with this waterfall....." She paused taking one big breath in.

" Smells like everything will be okay " , " when did you start smelling my scent? " , " I don't know but it's gotten stronger now " he nodded.

The was silence for a while " you should spend time with your girlfriend, ill be okay " , " she's my fiancee, and it's complicated our relationship isn't really based on love but our parents expectations of us " his body relaxed.

" Can you get out of it? " , " I never thought of it? ", " why? " , " because then there was nothing making me think of such " , " and now? " He looked at her.

" I don't know , I am still trying to figure that out " he looked back at the water then got up " it's getting late let's go back your father seems worried ".

" How do you know that? " , " just a hunch " he helped her up and they walked back to the car and he drove them home.

As soon as they got home her father ran outside and hugged her " are you okay sweetheart? Did anything happen? " , " I am fine dad really" she said smiling.

Her father looked between the two " go inside and help with dinner" she nodded and walked away.

" You imprinted on her " , " well I didn't me..." Her father grabbed Ash by the collar and Liam went to them " you have no right to imprint on her " , " I have every right ! " Ash shouted angry and he pushed him off.

" She is my mate that gives me every right to imprint on her or do whatever" ,her father scoffed " have you forgotten you're engaged? An engagement that can't easily be broken off? Did you talk to her ? Did you forget she's half human? Did you forget she knows nothing of what you are? What if she gets scared of you ?" Ash kept quiet and stepped back.

" Before you demand to claim my daughter as yours , think of your actions she is still healing that should've stopped you from imprinting on her , now she will think of only you when she hasn't even got over the betrayal that her best friend of 9 years slept with her boyfriend of 3 years " Liam gasped and looked at Ash.

" You selfish son of a b..." He was about to punch Ash but Kelicia stood between them.

" Dad what's wrong? Did Ash do anything wrong? Is it because I slept in his room? I won't do it again , is it cause we came back late? He.. he just wanted to cheer me up he even missed pract..." , " let's go home ".

" No " Ash voiced then intertwined his hand in hers " she needs to be where I see her , I am her guardian " , " Ashwin " , " I promised you Licia " the words rolled out of his mouth.

The nick name he gave her made her blush her eyes sparkly, they locked eyes , Liam cleared his voice.

" What Ash means is that we've decided to be with Kelly til she feels better if she leaves now she'll be alone at home and have no one to see if she has a panic attack here at home we have alot of people " , Kelly removed her hand from Ash and took her fathers.

" Dad please let me stay for a few days , I don't want to be alone right now " , " it's okay princess but on one condition " she nodded.

" You can't be alone with Ash someone needs to be with you two when you're at home " he turned looking at Ash.

" She needs to be ready for you don't force it " Ash nodded , Marta came out , Ash looked at Kelly.

Liam understood and took Kelly and her father away " why are you here? " , " it's the family dinner today , father has been waiting to talk to you , plus it's sleepover night ".

" You can't sleep over " , " why not?" , " Kelicia sleeps in my room " , " why? " , " I can't tell you " , " then ill sleep with you in t.." , " I sleep with Liam you know I find it hard to sleep in unfamiliar places " , " so then when can I sleep over ? " , " I don't know " , " why can't you just kick that girl out of your room? " Ash just left her and she followed him.

Inside he walked in and sat next to Kelicia whilst Marta sat infront of him angry.
