As soon as everyone was inside Patricia and the maids walked in with food.

There was awkwardness all around the table " you look so familiar" Cyrus, Marta's father voiced looking at Kelicia.

" She's my daughter" John voiced and he gasped " you're Namia's daughter? " , " you knew my mom? " Kelicia asked.

Cyrus looked at John " she doesn't know? " He shock his head , Kelicia was about to ask something but Ash held her hand and shook his heard.

" Cyrus how long will you be in town? " , " only 2 days , I have pack...I mean business to work out " , " mhhh that's great Marta must be happy to have you visit ".

" Ow she is but your son doesn't seem to be doing justice to his fiance " he said looking at Ash who paid no attention to the conversation but the food he was dishing out for Kelicia.

Jeremy cleared his throat getting his attention " now that we're all here I was hoping we could talk about something" he blurted out.

" Go on son " , " as we all know Marta and I have been together for give or take 3 years , everyone sitting here knows I have no feelings or interest in our relationship whatsoever.." , " Ash ! ".

" Dad please let me speak , ive given you all access to speak over my life all the time but now that my mate is here I don't think it's fair on me to turn my back on her when she needs me the most , I am your eldest son my brothers look up to me , if I don't stand up for myself then how can I be a better example?, Marta was never the one I loved and I'd like to call this engagement off , you all forced me into this anyway and I didn't say anything then maybe that was my mistake but now I am saying something ".

It was silent for a while , you could feel the anger going around in the table, thought it was quiet you could feel the tension.

Kelicia ate her food quietly then excused herself, as soon as she walked out Cyrus had Ash pinned to the wall.

" You dare want to break this alliance? " He growled " for a human " Ash was calm " that human is my mate and I'd like to venture into seeing why the Goddess choose her to be mine ".

" Ashwin ! " , " Father , you out of everyone here know where my feelings lie for this relationship, does my happiness really not matter ? ".

" Son ofcourse it does but all the nations were informed of your marriage, you can't break this up " , " then I will reject her in the next meeting ".

" You will do no such thing , as my first son it is your duty to keep this alliance for your families sake " , " everything I do has been for my family, I am sorry but this time I choose me, Kelicia she needs m..." He didn't finish his sentence as Cyrus punched him.

" Take this outside you'll wake her up " Patricia shouted , Cyrus pulled Ash out Liam and Jeremy followed with Patrick following behind them.

Kelicia watched as they walked into the forest, for some reason she was worried.

She stood there waiting for they return but no one came out , she heard howling and looked down spotting a big grey wolf but before she could say anything it was attacked by a dark wolf.

Kelicia ran down the rail stairs following the wolves into the forest but paused midway, what was she doing ? She was in the forest rushing to see a wolf being attacked, what if she gets attacked?.

She turned walking back , but heard noise from behind a tree it was a dark grey wolf it was injured, before she could even come close to it , it started shaking transforming into a human.

Kelicia looked closer at the body , it was already dark outside but the moon shone the body.

The body was the body of one of the male maids in the house , Kelicia panicked and ran back inside.

As soon as she got in the room her mind worked over time , she was pacing up and down.

She decided to go down to find Marta pacing up and down in the kitchen " is something wrong? " , " if anything happens to my Ash you'll regret it ", " is Ash introuble? " She was about to say something but kept quiet as soon as she saw Ace then walked away.

" Can't sleep? ", " uhmm yea is everything okay with Ashwin? " He scoffed " nobody calls him that , but yes he's taking care of some business he told me to tell you he'll be back tomorrow"

" Tomorrow? " , " yes he had to hurry and leave , but left me and Josh to take care of you " , " Liam and Jeremy aren't here to? " He nodded.

Kelicia didn't believe him but what could she do " do you guys have wolves in this neighborhood? " Ace froze " uhmm yes in the forest sometimes we have some why? ".

" Are they dangerous? " , " some are " , she looked at him " your eyes changed colour" , " uhmm it's lenses I wear contacts " , " but they were fine a few minutes ago " Ace ran a hand on his hair.

" You must be sleepy, I know I am , goodnight " he quickly walked past her leaving her in the kitchen.

Kelicia got some ice cream for herself then went back to the room.

She kept wondering of what she saw in the forest, what was everyone hiding here she sighed getting into bed.

She hardly slept she kept tossing and turning all night she started shivering then got up walking into Ash's closet taking out his hoodie and wearing it.

She fell asleep immediately but it was already morning but no one woke her up.
