They reached the hospital Liam was already waiting for them.

Ash sat outside as Kelly entered the room " won't you go in? " , " I told you I do..." , " if you stay outside I'll be mad " she said then walked in.

Ash stood up and got in with her , Liam pulled Jeremy out so they could have some privacy.

" I want to see the boys too" , " you'll see the scan " Liam voiced as they sat down.

" Alpha Ash , nice of you to accompany your mate today" the doctor voice Ash just nodded he was nervous he didn't know what to do.

The doctor took alot of test " uhmm from what I am seeing here you're having too much sweets , I t..." , " are they not good for her? Will it hurt them? ".

" no nothing of that it's just to keep her sugar levels down she needs to cut off some " , " so she can have atleast, a slice of cake and some candy in a day " , " yes not more than that and cut off on cold stuff " , " can't she have it like once a day? " , " she can b.." , " good ".

" Ash let me finish,  like I told you last time you can't spoil her sh..." , " she will eat and have whatever she wants no one will tell her otherwise, you keep scaring her about weight gains but which woman gets pregnant and not gain weight? What is even the problem if she does end up keeping the weight after birth? You're stressing her out unnecessary " he sighed.

" stop telling scaring her and just tell me if she and the kids are okay , if they're all healthy I don't see why you're complaining about me feeding her cravings , will she and the kids be fine if she start crying and being sad ? J..."

" okay Ash breath , Kelicia and the kids are doing fine , you're sweating and rumbling because you're nervous,  I was only giving out advice as her doctor , please come closer so you can see how the boys are growing " Ash moved closer.

Kelicia was quiet all this time just admiring Ash , happy that he was here standing up for her.

Heart beats echoed in the room , Ash froze looking at the screen , " active little fellows " the doctor voiced.

Ash started breathing heavily Liam walked in and grabbed him pulling him out , Kelly felt uncomfortable like her chest was closing in on her.

Jeremy was already by her side , the doctor advised she stay and rest until  she feels better.

Liam took Ash back to the cabin , Jeremy took Kelicia home , as soon as they got home her phone rang it was Ash ,she answered.

" don't worry I am fine " , " mhh " , " what do you want for lunch? Tell me " , " you always know what I want why don't you get something for me like you usually do " , " okay bye ".

" Ashwin " , " yes " , " call me everyday " , " okay " , " bye " , " bye " he dropped the call.

Her father was already waiting for her , there was alot of paper bags in the living room " dad what's this ? " , " Patricia went crazy shopping for you and the children ".

" what ? " , " she said if they don't fit now they'll fit in a week or two " Kelicia sighed sitting down with her leg raised.

" do you think I am too hard on him? " , " no you're too soft on him " , " dad " , " baby listen,  I have no problem with you and your mate spending time together , my problem is who will pick up the pieces when he hurts you again.

He's going to get married,  you're about to have his children, have you talked on your arrangements?.

Marta is pregnant too which means they will get married before she gives birth , are you ready for that heartache?.

Sometimes love alone is never enough, open up yourself to other options, what his parents did to him was tragic but you should take care of you and the kids that's what comes first ".

She turned having her back to her father as she laid on the couch.

" Ashwin didn't choose all of this , he was ready to fight for us , yet all I've been doing is giving up and not trying to save him , if it was mom , would you have let it go so easy ? " there was silence.

Kelly fell asleep but was woken up by her phone ringing she answered in her sleep.

" hello " , " turn or you'll have back pain " she did as told " your food will be there any minute can you get up? " , " yes thank you " , " okay I'll send Jeremy to rub your feet later " , " why can't you do it? " the was silence for a while.

" am I asking for too much? " , " Licia " , " it's fine don't come but if you won't do it don't send anyone to do it " , " Lic..." she dropped the call.

The doorbell rang and she sighed getting up , she opened the door and it was her food delivery, he had bought her pizza just what she wanted.

She took the boxes and walked up to her room , she ate her food then went back to sleep.

By the time she woke up Ash was massaging her feet , it was already late he had already cooked for her.

She quietly got up " how did you get in ? " , " the same way I've been getting in to make you food " , " you've been cooking for me " , " Jeremy can't cook Licia " , " oh " he got up putting pillows behind her and handing her the plate of food.

" I can't stay for long , please eat your food and don't throw anymore tantrums,  I am going to the borders it will take time for me to reach you if something happens " she just nodded.

" I've packed your snacks in the kitchen and some in your room don't eat too much chocolate you'll have heartburn " she nodded.

" make sure you sleep on your sides not your back b..." , " I'll be fine you'll only be gone for a few hours , it's night I won't go anywhere so nothing will happen to me ".

" I just don't want you hurt Licia " she cupped his cheek he leaned into her touch closing his eyes as his body relaxed , taking one of his hands and placing it on her belly.

" we'll be okay , go so you can come back early " he opened his eyes and for the first time in months the old Ash reflected within him.

He got up kissed her forehead then walked out , Kelly ate her food and watched some movies till she passed out.
