Zach and Damon walk down the stairs
Damon: hi mother
Kate: hi Damon
Stefan: Mom what did you want to tell me in person?
Kate: I want to get a divorce from your father
Damon: Why on earth would you do that?
Kate: He is doing some shady stuff with the money we get from our jobs and he is cheating on me and he is being passive-aggressive with me. When I tried to reason with him about why you left Stefan he threatened to leave me right after he sent Damon to town. I plan to get my place in the city and have it in my name, not your dad's. I will still be able to work in the city for another year, then after that, I'm thinking of coming back here.
Damon: wow what about me?
Kate: You seem like you hate and look to your father so you can return to the city with him.
Damon: Mom I don't hate you. I just don't agree with your way of thinking when it comes to certain things about dad. When things go bad I do understand where you're coming from.
Damon's phone went off
Damon: it's dad
Zach: answer it
Damon answered his phone
Over the phone with bob
Damon, Hey Dad are you at the hotel Zach set up for you?
Bob, yeah how are things with you and your brother is he talking to you
Damon, yeah but he is full of rage at the moment I will give him some time
Bob, you got six days now to fix things with your bother
Damon, I know Dad I got to go Zach is about to take me to the mystic grill
Bob, Son don't get drunk
Damon, got it, Dad
End of the phone call
Kate: I need to get a good lawyer not from New York
Zach: I can see what I can do for you, Kate.
Kate: I know but one more thing I want both of you in the courtroom with me.
Damon: I'm going to go back to the city when says I can go back, one issue is that Stefan you have to come back with me.
Stefan: I can't go back to the city. If I do that Dad will get control of me again.
Kate: Damon Stefan is not going back to the city. he chose to get away from your father's control. you have to respect his choices. he finally took a stand against your father.
Zach: about that, I'm planning on traveling soon. I told the Gilberts if Stefan needs anything they would come over and help him out and they are the only ones who know about this. I will send Stefan money for food and other things and I will stop in for the holidays the major ones
Kate: Zach what about the bills on the house?
Zach: already taken care of Kate you forget this house has been in the Salvatore name for ages. I told the Lockwoods to do them for me and I gave them the money they would need for the payments that are left on this house. I thought this out, sister.
Kate: what are the plans for Bob then brother?
Zach: he will be in for a rude awakening when the trial happens. I still have the information to show the judge form from when you both lived here
