The Missing Piece: My Other Half (A Twin Story)

Rehearsing for Night 2

Marley's Pov:

We had spent a lot of time together last Night and I got to know my Sister better by spending one on one time with her. It was so much fun having her as a Roommate. We talked to each other late into the Night, ate Junk Food, and watched Reruns of Friends. Turns out we had more in common than I thought we did.

She told me a lot about our late Grandmother MarJorie who I am named after and said she was a Famous Opera Singer and said that is where we got our Singing Talent from. She told me that she wasn't no where near as Popular like she is with her Fame but she says our Grandmother was a well known Opera Singer. When she was alive she did teach Taylor how to play the Piano  some when she was a little Kid later on Taylor had taken up Piano lessons.

It was amazing just hearing about my Family History even though I didn't know all that much about them. Taylor said she had a Family History Book that we could look at once we were back Home in her Apartment in New York.She also wanted to give me a Tour of the City and take me on a Shopping Spree on Stuff I needed moving in with her she even offered to pay for it and told me not to say no.

I was completely floored by her generosity and her kindness. Some People who are Rich and Famous a lot of them do not help People and keep most of the Money themselves.But not Taylor, Taylor wanted to help give her Band and Crew Bonuses and her Truck Drivers and the rest of the Road Crew. And now she wanted to help me out which is more than I could ever ask for. Hardly anyone had ever shown me kindness like that in the past except Jess who had helped me when I needed it before.

Much later the next day,  around 4:00 we did Rehearsals for Tonight's Show.Jess had ran off to go join the Dancers in Rehearsing with them before all that we had to sign Employee Forms with both Taylor and Tree going over whats in the Forms. It was all simple things to follow which we had no trouble signing it. I was taken by Taylor to go join Kamilla, Melanie, and Jeslyn onstage to Rehearse Songs that we would perform tonight with Taylor. We performed up to three songs for practice that day and every thing went smoothly.

Background Singers were also taught Dance Choreography as well while being onstage since we would be joining Taylor on the Stage during some of her Songs. I caught on quicky with the Dance Choreography. When I was in New Directions we learned a lot of it to prepare for a lot of events. We were instructed on what to do when joining Taylor onstage for some of the songs. After that, Tree came and found me saying that they had my Background Singer's outfits ready for me in Taylor's Dressing Room. Taylor had insisted on us both sharing a Dressing Room since we are Sisters.

After doing Rehearsals for about a couple hours, we were free to go have our first break of the day, and to go grab something to eat or Drink I quickly jogged up to Taylor who was going to the same place we all were where the Dining Room Area was. We followed everyone else in there talking excitedly about how my first Rehearsal with the Band went.

"You were awesome during Rehearsal Marley! It's like your a natural up onstage! And you learn Dance Choreography so quickly! I'm just very impressed with your Work Ethic!"Taylor smiles she was very proud of how I was doing in Rehearsal and it was only my first day. "Thanks Sis, having some knowledge of Dance Choreography from the time I was in New Directions really does pay off. I mean. You never know when you will use it later". Taylor nodded agreeing with me.

The Dining Hall was inside the Stadium in one of the big Rooms they had. Inside was a long Table that can easily be folded up. And it was loaded with Food like the other Day. Sandwiches of any Kind was laid out, there was Chicken Strips, Cold Cuts of Turkey and Ham and Cheese with Crackers, and Chicken Nuggets. All of this Food must have been Catered Marley thought there was no telling how much Taylor had spent on Food to feed everyone on Tour.

They had roughly an Hour to eat and to go use the Restroom because at 6 they all had to get ready for tonight's Show and be on Stage about 7:45. The Dining Hall was a noisy but chattery room as everyone talked amongst themselves and ate quickly as they could. Marley couldn't believe how quickly time was going by while they all had fun just being together. She had chosen a Chicken Club Wrap that evening with some fresh Veggies on the side.

At 6 it was time for everyone to head to Wardrobe to get ready Marley already went to the Restroom. So she and Taylor made they're way to Wardrobe. Marley was surprised when several Women gave Marley one of the Backup Singer Outfits that she will be wearing during the first portion of the show a Solid Black V-Neck top with a pair of matching Black pants. Marley changed into it and surprisingly it fit her. She had Taylor's Hair Stylist put some Red Burgundy Tint to her hair in two Strands it would still be Brown, but the Red Tint in certain strands would look more awesome.

And then lastly it was time for her Makeup. Makeup Artists appeared at her so fast Marley had no time to think about what was happening. They put on a good bit of Makeup on her and made her hair wavy looking with some Curling iron. Marley could barely see what was going on with her Sister as she was currently surrounded by Makeup People to fussing about how she needs to look perfect onstage.

After her Hair and Makeup was done, Marley was then taken over to an Area by Tree where she had to have her Picture taken to be featured in the end Credits of the Tour. They took Several shots of her and then added her name to it. Her name would be featured as Marley Marjorie Swift right next to Background Vocalist. Marley noticed they did a similar thing with Jess except she would be a Dancer.

At 7:00 Kamilla found Marley and told her to follow her as they got ready to go near the Stage Marley could hear the Crowd buzzing with excitement as everyone went towards the Stage to get in they're rightful places.Marley began to feel nervous this was actually happening, tonight she was a part of the Eras Tour and most importantly a part of Taylor's Band. Marley glanced down at her watch it was approaching 7:45 Kamilla noticed that she appeared nervous and spoke up.

"You don't need to be nervous Marley, this is a wonderful experience that you are going to have just focus on the music, smile at the Audience, and remember to have fun doing what your doing. I've been where you are and know what it's like to be new just be you. You got this".she smiled at Marley.

We both get in our positions on the Stage which is on the right side the Intro to the Tour is starting and the Men Dancers come out onstage looking like they had Giant Rose Pedals on they're backs. It was a Beautiful sight to see and it meant that Taylor would soon take the Stage then it would be the Band's time to start up the Music.

The Crowd went wild once Taylor was revealed onstage after she emerged from the Petals. The Music to "Cruel Summer". Started up and then Marley knew knew just what to do and her and Kamilla did the Background Vocals perfect on it they're voices blending Beautifully with Taylor's as the Show continued on.
