The Missing Piece: My Other Half (A Twin Story)

Those aren't Fireworks

Taylor's Pov:

It was time to do three more shows at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida. I would be performing three Nights for a very excited Crowd that was coming to see me.

What made me even happier is that Marley is now part of my Band and she is adjusting very good to be someone new in the Band and learning things very quickly. I loved her enthusiasm of being onstage she had said this is a Dream come true for her.

We did Soundcheck about  at 4 going about our usual Schedule. We had lunch earlier about  around 1 and 2. We were currently onstage making sure things ran smoothly and so far they were. I stood on the Diamond part of the Stage practicing singing the Surprise Songs. There was some People already in the Stadium but they are the ones that came to watch Soundcheck.

Everything started good like it should that Day. Nothing seemed off at first and nothing screamed Danger to her Superhearing Senses at least none that she could sense right off hand. So they went about they're day as normal.

Marley's Pov:

We were currently doing Soundcheck. Me and the Background Singers practiced along with Taylor making sure the Mics worked probably as we didn't want any major problems during the Concert. I even did something different with my hair by having Taylor's Stylist add some Red Tints to my hair.

Everything ran smoothly during Soundcheck we watched as Taylor practiced the three Surprise Songs that she was going to sing. Taylor practiced singing "Mean" from Red and had Aaron Dessner join her on "Mad Woman". The only thing we had to do during Soundcheck was sing Backup for the Songs that weren't Surprise Songs.

After Soundcheck was over, we were allowed to do want we wanted until it was time to do the Concert. Spotting Brian Moore with Travis as they watched us do Soundcheck I smiled and waved and came right over to him and gave him a hug "It's so good to see you here where are you sitting?"

Brian hugged me back "Will be in the VIP Tent with Travis watching the entire Show then you'll see me Backstage after. You sound wonderful up there with your Sister I can't wait to see how the actual Concert is Travis here says it's really exciting and full of Energy".

Marley smiled "Travis is right about that. The entire Concert is awesome". The three of us talked until it was close to the Concert time then I told them we would see them after the Show. Making my way Backstage to go get Dressed for the Concert I didn't notice anything off that Night and just went about my normal routine.

Soon it was 7:45 and it was Concert time we were in our Black Backup Singer Outfits and would change outfits every once in awhile during the show. Everything went good for about an Hour into the show. When we started the Second Hour and did the Fearless Era, we were on the Floor with Taylor and singing "You Belong With Me" after "Fearless" when all of a sudden we heard loud popping sounds.

It all happened in such a Blur it seemed like when I looked over at Taylor horrified not knowing where the sounds were coming from, Taylor heard it to and she sprang into Action she came towards me really really fast then grabbed me and before I knew it we were on the ground next to the Stage she had tackled me down out of Harms way while Popping Sound was still going on.

Fans immediately started panicking alot of them fled and made they're way out of the Stadium. Some stood around trying to figure out what's happening. Somebody had said "That's not Fireworks, it's a Gun!" More Fans ran screaming determined to get out of the Stadium Safely.

I was still underneath Taylor who remained on top of me shielding me so I wouldn't get shot.More awful popping sounds sounded. Some of the Dancers and Fans had gotten Shot. Travis and Brian remained on the floor trying to figure out where the Gunman is and they spotted him they went into Action gathering up as many Security and going after him to stop him from attacking anyone else.

It was like the worst horrible scene ever. Brian saw saw some of the Dancers injured and killed onstage. One that was horribly killed in the incident was the Fiery Redhead named Jess there wasn't anything they could do about the ones who had gotten killed.

Taylor's Pov:
Taylor remained on top of Marley determined to protect her Sister at all Costs. She knew who had done the Shooting she saw that it's Marley's Ex and he would have shot Marley if Taylor hadn't sprang into Action and tackled her down on the Floor next to the Stage.

They were out of the Shooter's view. She had to get them somewhere safe Taylor had seen many of her Fans fleeing the Stadium. She didn't blame them for being terrified.She would give a Public Statement later but what mattered now was getting her Sister to somewhere safely.
