Dinner & Fireworks

Marley Pov:

After going back inside after Drying off and changing into Dryer Clothes and Blow Drying my Hair after a Shower, I had changed into some Denim Shorts and a Light Pink Tank Top and went back downstairs. Mom and Dad and everyone had witnessed what went on with me, Austin and Taylor. And everyone had a good laugh. I will definitely get them back for this maybe not now but at some point when they both least expect it.

Everyone had gathered around a Big Picnic Table outside to enjoy eating Barbeque out in the nice Weather. Taylor had saved me a seat on the other side of her which is empty and next to me sat Brian. At the end of us sat Mom and Dad and Austin sat Across from me. He said something to me as soon as I sat down with my Food. "Hey Sis, no hard feelings about what we did earlier alright? It was just Payback after what you did to us". Austin said grinning at her but it looked more like a Smirk. Marley glared at Austin before she took a Bite of her Food using her Finger on her right hand and slid it across her throat in one quick motion. Taylor looked at her Sister and was surprised at seeing her do that towards Austin.

Marley was still Angry towards Taylor to because both her and Austin had been the ones that had tossed her into the Pool and gotten out their own Nerf Guns. She might laugh about this whole thing later but for the time being she was
Angry towards both her Siblings for what they did and what she did with her throat was for both of them. She then proceeded in eating her Dinner and talked only to Brian and her Parents who tried to include her in Dinner conversation.Marley couldn't believe how good the Barbecue Ribs tasted along with the Slaw and Baked Beans that she had.

Taylor's Pov:

I felt Marley's tense presence next to me and realized she was still mad at what we did earlier to her. She had literally used her Finger to swipe across her neck indicating she is still Angry at us. Normally me and Marley usually don't stop talking very long but I felt her grow very distant tonight and realized maybe me and Austin went too far when we tossed her into the Pool.We didn't think that maybe Marley couldn't Swim that good? I could have put her at risk of Drowning. I instantly felt bad earlier. I had to make things up to Marley tonight even if I had to wait til everyone had left.

Uncomfortable Silence followed between the three of us tonight as we watched Fireworks. Marley didn't want to come join us for a Group Photo when me and my Friends took one each holding a Sparkler and doing a pose in our Bathing Suits. Instead she stayed with Brian the whole time watching the Fireworks Display all Night. I shook my head how could we have been so Dumb as Siblings? The plan at first was to get her with just the Super-Soakers that we had but then Austin had suggested throwing her in the Pool I thought he had been kidding about that.

Marley's Pov:

After the Fourth of July Party, me and Brian helped Taylor pick up some Trash that was around the Property and so did our Parents. By the time it was over with I felt like the Fourth Of July Party could have went better. It was my first 4th of July Party ever because the other Family I had been with didn't celebrate the Fourth Of July. I saw Brian off after we kissed.

Then I started my way back up the Stairs still in a lousy Mood. I hadn't spoken to Taylor ever since the Pool Incident. Both of my Siblings had humiliated me in front of everyone we knew and I expected better out of them.Taylor is practically my Hero that I have looked up to all my life even before we knew each other. I changed into some Pj's and a Top over my PJ pants. I brushed my teeth and just was about to go to bed when I couldn't even sleep.

I tried to read some of the Novel I had started reading when I was suddenly interrupted. Then I heard Taylor start talking through the Door. "Mars, please let me in. I am so sorry about what happened earlier. I had no idea that Austin was going to do what he did he just suddenly mentioned it. I didn't think he was actually going to go through with it. And I shouldn't have gone along with it.Marley just please listen to this song I am really so sorry"

She started playing a Familiar tune it was one of my favorite songs on one of my Albums of hers odd how it seemed to fit what we went through tonight.The Song is "Afterglow" and it's off of her Lover Album. Taylor is the only person who is singing it a Capella and didn't even have an Instrument. She had changed some words to it because she wanted to sing it directly to Marley as her way of her apologizing.

Marley couldn't believe her Sister was singing this Song directly to her and on the other side of the Door. She had been very Mad at her but now the Song had her Bawling in tears just like it had when she first heard it. She kept crying as she opened up the door still listening to Taylor sing to her. Taylor came inside clearly she had Been upset about earlier to. After Taylor finished the Song she wrapped me up in a big hug still Apologizing. I hugged her back relieved that we were going to be okay .
