A knowing smile crept on his face as he watched his hyung. His Joonie hyung who looked like he had just won the world was smiling so brightly holding the hand of a girl. Jungkook knew it was Maya, Joonie's long time crush. They were hidden away and by the looks of it also hiding their relationship.

He had entered the English building in hopes to find Joonie to assist him with some work, he found him but he didn't find him alone. The two lovers were cuddled up behind some old bookshelves in the corner of the library. Jungkook had found them on pure chance and he was thanking the universe today for that. A little smirk toyed on his lips when Namjoons eyes met his. He could see the slight sense of panic from Namjoon and then he looked at him in a threatening way. Jungkook knew what it meant. It was saying to keep his mouth shut.

Taking a page out of Park Jimins handbook, he could use this. He knew Namjoon was hiding this from him and Yoongi, might as well get something out of complying and staying silent. So he just smiled wider in a comical way that had Namjoon narrowing his eyes as if understanding completely what was going on in his mind.

Jungkook sent him a wink and left, already drafting him a message of what he would want in exchange for his silence. He made a mental note to ask his hyung why he was hiding it in the first place.

He was too engrossed in his phone that he didn't notice the chest that he now had walked into. His forehead bounced off someone's upper body and he started to fall back when a hand wrapped around his waist, steadying him.

"Ah, Jungkook. How's my favorite freshman?" Maybe the universe wasn't smiling on him today. Nope, the universe was just merely tricking him, and laughing at his misery in the process.

He quickly backed away and out of the elders hold. He bowed his head wanting so badly to turn around and run. "Hello" he mumbled hoping to sound unapproachable.

Like he said, the universe wasn't his friend because Jae's smile only deepened. "I've been meaning to find you, I've been hoping to get together and talk a little. We have a similar friend, so why not us as well? Are you free now?"

He shook his head indicating no, he wasn't free. In fact he didn't think he would ever be free for this person. He knows it's wrong to judge a person before knowing them completely, but he trusted his Joonie hyung and his gut, both said to stay far away.

"Oh come on. You don't have class, right?" Jae stepped forward, too close for comfort. "How about a coffee? I'll even pay"

That's it. Why was he acting so submissive? He wasn't even this way with Taehyung. Wait, Taehyung? In a moment of pure chance he caught a glimpse of his roommate walking out of the arts building. A gleam of hope started to grow. He took one step back, no longer feeling the intensity of the elder. "I can't."

"Oh sure you can" he stepped forward once more, Jungkook could smell his aftershave.

"No, actually I'm meeting my friend" he stepped back again, growing tired of this dance it seemed the other and him were doing. "Taehyung!" He called louder than necessary, he couldn't chance his roommate not hearing him. Thankfully Taehyung heard and caught on to his predicament, he said goodbye to whoever he was talking to and made his way over.

"Hey I've been waiting for you" he stared deeply into Taehyung eyes hoping he would play along.

"Yeah" Taehyung glanced at the elder who stood beside Jungkook, their eyes caught and he could sense the hostility wafting off the man in waves and it seemed to be directed towards him. Arching his brow he took in the man's posture. "Something wrong?"

Jae smirked "No, not at all." He turned towards Jungkook, a sickening sweet smile taking over his features. "Maybe you could reschedule whatever it is that you two had, hmm? I would really like to get to know you. Plus I'm your senior, you'll need someone to help you with your studies and anything else you need" sending Jungkook a wink as he spoke.
