Jungkook couldn't be happier. It had been a couple weeks since he had asked Taehyung to be his boyfriend and everything was just...perfect. Even with it being finals week of their first semester, he could honestly say he wasn't stressed or worried. Taehyung took it all away.Spending the nights studying while curled against each other. Taking breaks from it with watching movies or just laying in each other's arms. Exploring each other, clothes on of course. But hands did wander.
If Taehyungs goal was to get him addicted, he had succeeded.
That's why when Jungkooks mother had called him asking if he was coming home for their two week break he was hesitant to answer. She saw through it and had teased him about his new relationship, turning his cheeks pink and had him whining for her to stop. He was aware of what Tae's plans were, to return home with Jimin. His mother had suggested that he should invite him home with him as well. Knowing Tae had Jimins family to go home to, he put off asking.
Today was the last day of finals and he had just finished up his last one. Stepping outside into the crisp air he breathed in with relief. The term was over and next semester he was going to be officially majoring in film studies. Excitement overshadowed his nerves with his upcoming switch.
He all but skipped his way to Tae's building, who was also taking his last exam.
He hopped back on his heels, bouncing with anticipation. They were finally going to be free and then he could spend as much time as they wanted together. Well that is until they had to leave to go home. Which was happening tomorrow.
"Hey, Jungkook?"
Turning to the small voice he found a cute girl looking up at him. He had seen her around before but had never spoken to her. He wasn't sure what her major was but they shared a couple common classes together.
"Hello..."
"It's Hwa-young" she giggled, tucking her hair behind her ear as she looked down shyly. "I was wondering if you were free to talk?"
"Umm...about what?"
"Well what are your plans for break? Are you going back home?" Her eyes glistened up at him, eyelashes fluttering as she spoke.
Jungkook had to admit the girl was attractive, seeing how one could fall into those eyes and her soft voice. "I was planning to" He wasnt an idiot, he knew what she was doing. It was just surprising that it was happening to him. The first time for a girl to be flirting with him, so openly too.
"Oh.." She looked down again as she took a step towards him. Her perfume, a little strong, wafted into his airways. It would've been pleasant if it had been applied more moderately. "Maybe I can get your number and we can meet up during?."
"Oh?.."
"I've noticed you since the first day and you are exactly my type" she took another step and reached for his hand. "You're pretty attractive and your passive personality is a bonus"
He pulled his arm away gently, not wanting to be harsh to Hwa-young. This was his first confession from someone of the opposite sex after all. Too bad for her he only had eyes for one person. And that person, unbeknownst to the two, was watching the whole exchange.
Tae had exited his building with his eyes roaming left and right looking for Jungkook. It was planned for the smaller to wait for him to finish and then they'd walk back to the dorms together. When he spotted his love, he wasn't alone. A small female was standing close, too close for his liking. As he walked near he overheard her confession, also watched her dejected face with a smirk when Jungkook took his hand away from hers.
