I am so sorry for literally being gone for like five thousand years.

"W-What are you planning to do?" Ririka stammered as the door closed behind her and locked in place.

Kirari sat on her bed, smiling as she surveyed her surroundings.

"This place isn't too bad," Kirari commented. "But it's so rigid with so much technology and no...magic."

"I know right," Yumeko said from where she sat on her own bed. "I miss Lunaris."

"Ahem! I'm right here!" Ririka squeaked. "Y-You didn't answer my question!"

"I miss Sayaka already," the Vampire Queen sighed. "Being without her is exhausting."

"That's true. The two of you are always together," Yumeko agreed.

"Maybe I should get her something to pacify her when I come back," Kirari wondered aloud. "A jewel or——"

"RARI!"

Two pairs of eyes, one brown and one arctic blue, stared at her, both with a mixture of amusement and surprise.

"You didn't answer me," Ririka repeated quietly.

The corners of Kirari's face curled up into an amused smirk.

"Fascinating," she hummed. "Well, I suppose you'll have to wait and see. For now you should just cherish your time with that aggressive blonde."

Ririka's cheeks turned a pinkish hue as she bowed her head, her fringe covering her eyes.

'No reaction,' Kirari noted. 'Interesting.'

She rose from her bed and headed to the bathroom, leaving a flushed grey-haired girl and amused dark-haired girl behind.

"Himari Fujioka..." Mary muttered as she paced around in her dorm. That girl was suspicious. She came out of nowhere, claiming to be Hinata's twin sister, when Hinata didn't even seem to know her.

Was Himari a vampire? Was she disguised as a human and threatened Hinata to play along with her? How could she test to see if she was a vampire? Or maybe Hinata really was shocked to see her sister. But why would Himari not remind her in advance?

"Ugh!" the vampire hunter groaned as she flopped back onto her bed. There were too many possibilities, too many answered questions, too many suspicions about this newcomer.

Mary's thoughts came to a halt.

What about Hinata then? Was she suspicious? What if she and Himari were vampires? That would explain her uncanny kinetic vision, and how she seemed to complete every training modules with ease.

No. Hinata wouldn't lie to her.

Mary blushed. How would she know? Why was she suspecting Himari instead of Hinata? Why was she defending Hinata? How is she so sure that Hinata isn't a vampire?

An image of Hinata's shy expression and shimmering eyes came into view.

Mary shook her head immediately to wipe that image away. Not that it helped much.

'What's happening to me? Why am I suddenly thinking of her now?'

Mary sighed and got off her bed, heading outside. It was time to clear her head with some fresh air.

Ririka held a pillow in her arms, clutching it tighter as Kirari's words echoed in her mind.
