Erina was laughing with her brothers as they ate and she enjoyed the wine the king brought from the south. That was something she was excited for, trying all of the southern wines. As she was refilling her goblet she saw her father enter the hall with a grim expression on his face she knew something had happened but she didn't want to know what. Robb was making fun of Jon about a girl he had liked a year or two ago when their father sat next to Erina. "Something has happened to Bran." He spoke in a low whisper all three of them stopped. Their baby brother. "What." Robb spoke in the coldest voice, "He was climbing the abandoned tower and fell, he hasn't woken up and we don't know if he ever will." Erina couldn't believe it her baby brother, the boy she helped her mother deliver and held right after her parents. May never wake up. She may never hear his laugh again never see his smile. Her father wrapped an arm around her shoulder "How am I to be married and celebrate when my baby brother might never wake up?" She asked her voice breaking, Robb and Jon looked stone cold she knew they were angry because there was no one to punish and somehow that was worse. "You are to be married, do not let this ruin that excitement the wedding will continue and I do not want you to spend this time worrying about Bran." She knew her father was right there was nothing she could do for Bran it was up to the Gods and the maester. She had to focus on her marriage to Jaime.

After her father shared the news her and her brothers quickly parted ways Jon to take his anger out in the training grounds, Robb to go comfort their mother, and she did not know where she would go. She loved her family they meant everything to her, she aimlessly wondered the halls of Winterfell till she ended up at the door to Jaime's chambers and held her breath.
She rested her hand on the door lacking the bravery to knock but she needed to see him. She laid her head quietly on the door softly letting herself cry, not knowing what to do or who to go to.Then a soft whisper from down the hall made her go still, "Erina?" She knew that voice the softness in his tone, she didn't turn to face him so he walked up behind her placing his hand on her back and using his other to pull her head into his neck. She began to cry harder and spoke, "Bran he-" she cried out not finishing the sentence. "Shhh I know I'm so sorry." He held her head and slowly opened the door "Come here." They walked into his chambers, he brought her over to the large chair in front of the fireplace and they both sat down. Her head was rested on his chest as she cried and he held her. "I'm so sorry Erina." "He's only ten years old and one slip might take his life." Jaime tilted her chin upwards "I'm so sorry, I am not exactly the most religious but I pray to all the gods, old and new that he wakes up." He took his hand away from her face,"Thank you Jaime." She smiled it was small and only for a minute but he saw it and it made him happy.

"If you wish to postpone our wedding I would understand completely we don't-" "No. I don't wish to postpone." He nodded, "As you wish my lady." They both let out soft laughs at the formality. She ran her fingers over the back of his hand lightly tracing the many scars then she placed his hand on her face. He looked at her and all he could think about was kissing her lips, he knew he could not until they were married but it was all he wanted. She was also looking at him and her eyes kept falling to his lips she was a lady she was taught you shall never kiss nor touch a man till you are married. She shouldn't even be alone with him but she didn't care he made her feel safe and comfortable. "My lord I-" "Jaime, Erina please by the gods call me Jaime." He cut her off, his lips now centimeters from hers. He craved her, their wedding was in just a few days and he could barely wait. "You do not know how badly I want you to be my wife, how badly I want to kiss your lips."

Her face was now covered in blush. She nodded agreeing with his desires "We are not supposed to kiss until our wedding day." She barely whispered "We also aren't supposed to be in each other's chambers in the dead of night, we don't seem to be following the rules." He said with a laugh his hand held her chin with his thumb rubbing her bottom lip "Jaime" "Unless you tell me otherwise I will not kiss you until our wedding day, you are a respected lady and I will not deface your honor." He said looking into her eyes then a bell range signaling it was three hours after midnight. "My honor is already ruined if anyone sees me coming from your room this late." She laughed thinking of Robb's reaction if he heard. Jaime nodded he began to take his hand away but she stopped him and put it back. "My lord- Jaime, I very much want to kiss you and I do not wish to wait." He was shocked "You're sure?" He asked his tone sounding as if the only reason he breathed was because she hadn't told him to stop but if she did he would. "I'm sure." He then slowly care fully took her face one hand on the back of her head the other on her cheek and slowly moved in to kiss her. He started with just a small sweet kiss on her lips which slowly grew more passionate. She broke it to it to take a breath and Jaime mumbled "By the gods" They rested their foreheads together but then their peace was broken by footsteps down the hall and a knock at Jaimes door.

"Jaime are you awake?" His brother Tyrions voice muffled through the door. Erinas face was filled with fear but Jaime held out a hand to comfort her knowing that his brother was not a threat. "Here just sit here for a moment" he stood to open the door. "Hello little brother." He smiled at Tyrion "Hello, that smile tells me something what is it?" Jaime laughed at his brother's suspicions "Why are you here so late in the night?" "I wanted to see what you knew about the stark boys fall, and about your wedding." Jaime raised an eyebrow. "All I know about the boy's fall is that I found him outside the broken tower lying still and called for the maester. As for my wedding it is to take place in a few days." He said glancing back at Erina to see that she was alright. She was sitting in front of the fire staring into the flames. "Brother might I come in I would rather not freeze off my most valuable bits." Tyrion said Jaime nervously nodded opening the door revealing his betrothed. "Ah my lady what a pleasure to meet you finally." Tyrion said towards Erina who had risen to her feet and curtsied him. "Lord Tyrion." She said nervously "Jaime you should be more cautious of your brides honor should someone see her here or see her leave rumors will arise." Tyrion stated but added "Not saying your honor is questionable my lady but it is the manner of gossip." Jaime looked at him and after a moment responded "I'm very aware of that fact Tyrion, but when her brother has fallen and may not wake up I'm not concerned with the thoughts of others." "Very well, might I have a drink?" Jaime nodded. Tyrion poured a goblet of wine then two more. Jaime took the other two and handed one to Erina. He sat next to her and Tyrion sat in a chair next to them. They began to talk and laugh and for a couple hours it took  Erinas mind off of her brother. Erina fell asleep and Jaime noticed so he picked her up and took her to her room, it was two hours before sun rise so nobody in the castle was awake especially not in the bed chambers. He tucked her in and quietly closed the door silently walking down the hall. When he returned Tyrion was passed out asleep on the sofa, Jaime sat at the end of his bed and quietly laughed at his little brother. His wedding was officially in three days and then Erina was his wife he couldn't understand her interest in him. He was a bad man and he knew that but Erina didn't and if she did she didn't seem to care. He laid down only thinking of Erina, her soft lips the way she could have gone anywhere in the castle but she chose him for comfort. He knew no matter what she was his and he would do anything for her even if it meant going against Cersei.
