A grown up Leafy awakens from her nightmare, she was sweating profusely. Firey barged into the room, after hearing her scream.
"Are you okay Leafy?" Firey asked, immediately sitting down, but not too close, as he didn't want to die from her sweat.
"I had a nightmare.." Leafy said, clutching a pillow in her chest. "I dreamt some machines were chasing me, and 2 other people, I don't know who they were." She started crying softly, those people looked very familiar.
Leafy calmed down after a while, got dressed and went to the living room, it was only 9:46AM, yet, the others already had breakfast and were watching Godzilla Singular Point episode 2. They were just about the start of the fight between the First Form Rodan and Proto Jet Jaguar. Gelatin was yelling and jumping out of control.
"GO JJ GOOO KILL EM!!" Gelatin was throwing his empty popcorn box at the TV now.
"Woah, calm down, it's just anime, they can't even hear you." TB said.
"Yeah! Stop acting like a 6 year old!" Donut snapped.
"Heh, I AM a 6 year old!" Gelatin then walked off to enjoy the morning air.
Firey and Leafy decided to take a walk as well, it's becoming a routine thing for them to do. They visited their favorite spots as well, but the interesting thing is, on their routine visit to the observatory, GB notices a speck of green light trailing from mars. GB simply announces that it's a gas explosion that's "native" to mars, and sent them both on their way.
GB examined the gasses closer, they appear to be metallic, and the comets look very cylindrical.
....
POD 1, 5 MARTIANS, ETA 5 HOURS TO EARTH.
One of the Martian pilots radioed back to base.
"Approaching Earth, we have unfortunately hit an asteroid belt, one of our control fins had been jammed." The Martian reports.
"Understood. You have authorization to change your course to backup sector." The elder then grants access to an alternate map of the target plan.
