"W-wait...so Alec is your brother?!" I cried.
I fell in love with my uncle?! That's disgusting! My mother started laughing really hard, which was definitely a surprise. Even Alec looked taken back.
"Darling...this is both good news and bad news. Which one would you like to hear first?" asked my mother.
"Bad news...?" I said questionably.
"You're not really my daughter. You were adopted after your mother and father died in a car crash. I turned you into a vampire but put a spell on you so you would be able to control yourself unlike a normal immortal child," she said.
J-Jane wasn't really my mother?!
"Okay then. The good news is that you could still love Alec without it being weird. Or incest," chuckled Jane.
She laughed a little.
